The 61-year-old felon arrested for the murder of Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan rented his Jacksonville home from Bridegan's ex-wife's new husband.
Henry Tenon is in custody on charges of second degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for Bridegan's killing on February 16. ***
Police however said at a press conference on Wednesday that he did not act alone, and that they continue to investigate.
Tenon rented his home from Mario Fernandez, the new husband of Bridegan's ex-wife Shanna. The couple sold the house in October 2022 - eight months after the murder, and three months after Tenon was arrested for unrelated gun charges.
Neither Shanna nor Mario, who moved cross country from Florida to Washington state, have been arrested.
According to sheriff's records, Tenon was arrested in August on unrelated gun charges. He will go before a judge tomorrow on murder charges.
'We know Henry Tenon did not act alone,' said State's Attorney Melissa Nelson at a press conference today.
Bridegan was killed on February 16, 2022, while driving from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, to St. Augustine, after dropping off his nine-year-old twins with their mother. His two-year-old daughter, Bexley, was in the car at the time.
*** Tenon was arrested last August by the same police department on charges of owning a weapon despite being a convicted felon, and driving without a license.
His previous offenses include felony traffic violations like driving with a suspended license multiple times, along with misdemeanor assault and domestic violence charges.
His long arrest record dates back to the mid 1990s.

AND the ex-wife just moved her family to Washington state.

I’m not suggesting there isn’t. The fact that the thug has committed numerous crimes throughout the years but keeps getting released because of “equity.”
Looks to me like a situation where the alleged hit man just happened to be black, instead of being motivated by his intended victim’s color.
I suspect his days of freedom may be over.
