Nearly a year after the ambush hit on a St. Augustine father after dropping off two of his children to his ex-wife in Jacksonville Beach, Police Chief Gene Paul Smith announced an arrest of a 61-year-old felon. But State Attorney Melissa Nelson said he did not act alone in the death of 33-year-old Jared Bridegan.
Henry Arthur Tenon, 61, was charged Wednesday with conspiracy to commit murder, second-degree murder with a weapon, accessory to the fact to a capital felony and child abuse, Smith and Nelson said.

Yep, sounds like murder-for-hire. Strangers don’t usually just randomly ambush and assassinate people at a time and location known in advance to their ex-wives...

Chalk this up to another failed criminal mastermind.
This was a true ambush shooting meeting every criterion for Murder 1 including obvious aforethought and planning. The likely shooter will surely be happy to tell the whole tale in detail about the loving couple who paid him. All three look ;ike good Murder 1 candidates and it is a good bet that Fernandez at least, while his honey should as well, will get the death penalty.
Criminals is so stupid.
