OK, as I've gotten older, I now realize how important sleep is and I'm not getting much of it of late.
I'm about 190lbs and sleep with a CPAP machine. I bought a Sealy mattress (queen-foam) this past summer and it was nice and firm for awhile. Now, it's like sleeping in a crevice and very uncomfortable. I like a firm mattress that holds its firmness with little or no sinkage.
Any mattress gurus out there that can give me some guidance? I have $1K to burn. I just want my sleep back as I'm miserable.

Ditto. More than your budget - but worth it.
You may not need adjustable frame.......
I would get a mattress made of natural latex like at https://spindlemattress.com/
They tend to be expensive, but you are paying for quality and not for the advertising cost behind the famous brands.
The brand I linked above is know for good prics
I ordered a Jenna mattress from Home Depot. It came in a box.
So far, it is very good, but it is up in my other house and I don’t get to sleep on it too much because most of the time when I am there I am not alone and the other person wants the room it is in. She seems to like the mattress too.
I am going to be getting at least once mattress set for that house this year, so I am glad you posted.
I’m probably going to get an adjustable full size platform.
I need a new box spring for a twin for the Jenna to go on. The one I have is 50 years old.
Surprise hubby with a king size futon on a platform frame!
He is and would be a very lucky man!
The Bamboo pillows are really god and last a long time too..
Trust me. You get old, you will need the adjustable bed.
Try getting a good topper...latex might be worth it. We got a Plush Latex mattress that was great till we remodeled, and it was rolled up for 8 months...but got a latex topper, and is fine now.
And what’s up with the foot-thick mattresses anyhow? Annoying.
I read that somewhere else and don’t even remember where I say it.
Serta Air Mattress with built in air pump.
I like that idea.
I’m 77. Flat bed is fine.
Iz for me! When I’m in the dog house. :)
