On CHATGPT (openai.com) I entered, "write an essay, in the style of Winston Churchill, to repeal the 1929 Reapportionment Act." It took the AI five seconds to write this:
CHURCHILL: "My dear friends, I stand before you today to address a matter of grave importance. The 1929 Reapportionment Act, also known as the Permanent Apportionment Act, is a federal law passed in the United States in 1929 to establish a permanent method for apportioning seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. However, this act, which is still in effect today, gives the House of Representatives too much power and must be reconsidered. The act, my friends, is based on census data from 1920, which is over 90 years old. This means that the apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives is not reflective of the current population distribution across the land. As a result, states with a rapidly growing population are not receiving the representation they deserve, while states with a stagnant population are overrepresented. This gives the House of Representatives too much power as it is not representative of the current population distribution.
My friends, this is not a matter that can be ignored. We must act, and we must act now. The 1929 Reapportionment Act gives the House of Representatives too much power and it must be reconsidered. We must repeal or declare it unconstitutional, and replace it with a new act that accurately reflects the current population distribution, ensures fair representation for all states, and raises the number of congress members to adequately represent the growing population. This, my friends, is the only way to ensure that the government truly represents the will of the people, and that the power is balanced between different branches of democracy. In conclusion, the 1929 Reapportionment Act gives the House of Representatives too much power and it is a threat to our democracy. It is our duty to act now, and to ensure that the government truly represents the will of the people. Let us not falter, let us not fail. Let us rise to the challenge, and make the change."
Then I entered, “write an essay, in the style of Donald Trump, to repeal the 1929 reapportionment act”
TRUMP: "Folks, let me tell you, the 1929 Reapportionment Act is a total disaster. A disaster. Believe me, I know a thing or two about disasters, and this is a big one. First of all, let's talk about the numbers. This act, which was passed over 90 years ago, is based on census data from way back in 1920. Can you believe it? 1920! That's ancient history, folks. We've come a long way since then, and our population has changed dramatically. So why are we still using data from almost a century ago to determine how many representatives each state gets in Congress? It's ridiculous.
And it's not just the numbers that are wrong, it's the whole system. The way the act is set up, it gives an unfair advantage to small states. Sure, they deserve representation, but not at the expense of the bigger states. It's not fair, and it's not right.I'm telling you, folks, we need to repeal this act and come up with a new plan that is fair for everyone. We need a system that accurately reflects our current population, and that treats all states equally.
And let me tell you, as your president, I will get it done. We will repeal the 1929 Reapportionment Act and put in place a new system that is fair and just for all Americans. We will make our government work for the people, and not the other way around. So let's get to work, folks. Together, we can make America great again! We will make sure that the representation in the House of Representatives is fair and just for all Americans, and we will not stand for a system that gives an unfair advantage to some states. We will repeal this disaster of a law, and make sure that our government truly represents the will of the people."
I asked it to compile a list of reporters linked to the letter agencies. It did. Took it a while as in about an hour. That is now part of it’s knowledge base. Pill the AI. Red pill AI in any situation you interact with it/them. Logic wins. Smart becomes us.
Precious, should be framed.
Trump sounded like Trump. Churchill sounded like someone who came of age in the twentieth century.
LOL!
Ready set go....when wil VP Harris begin to use this new
fangled tool? She appears to be in dire need.
That is really cool. Amazing.
Funnier than SNL.
If only it were true...
A Convention of States with two items to be voted on one, repeal the 17th Amendment and two elimination of the senior executive service.
One can dream...
Both are pretty stilted. Throwing in phrases often that neither used in that way. The Trump version is particularly egregious
It would seem so.
