The traditional approach to health care takes “a purely anthropocentric view — that the human being is the centre of medical attention and concern,” the Lancet declares, whereas One Health “places us in an interconnected and interdependent relationship with non-human animals and the environment.”
In its revolutionary proposal, the Lancet suggests that the life of a human being is not necessarily worth more than the life of any non-human animal
One Health demands that we take a fundamentally different approach to the natural world, the journal contends, “one in which we are as concerned about the welfare of non-human animals and the environment as we are about humans.”
“In its truest sense, One Health is a call for ecological, not merely health, equity,” it concludes.

There are plenty of veterinary and animal care journals.
There are plenty of veterinary journals out there, it’s not like we don’t care for other animals. Maybe The Lancet can crawl out of their shell and head to the nearest vet school...
I await the Lancet’s vigorous defense of cricket and beetle life.
They are now in mortal danger.
This is Devolution happening right in front of us...

Stevie Wonder could have seen this one coming...
Rabbits, people, they're all the same inside.

Interesting idea; lets ask them.
So just how many billions of bugs do they intend to slaughter just to feed folks? Murderers!
Actually, animal research has done loads of good for human health. If you have a disease and have benefited from a pharmaceutical, thank an animal (most usually, a mouse or rat.)
But they’ll probably want to stop that soon...
They are working up to giving excuses for thinning the herd — the human herd.
Indeed: The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence; the big question seems to be who’s or what’s health care.
It’s a boil to be lanced.
No thanks. Cannibalism comes next.
