J. K. Rowling is a constant target of radical transgender activists because she refuses to bend the knee to their religious dogma. They believe that ‘trans women are women’ and that said notion should not be open to judgment, while relentlessly judging people like Rowling who believe biology determines sex.
In this case, a transgender person named India Willoughby decided to claim that they were ‘more of a woman than JK Rowling will ever be’, validating one of Rowling’s chief complaints that claims that sex isn’t real erases the lived reality of women across the globe.

Ouch. Dismissed in two words.
Willoughby launched this personal attack at Rowling in reply to another user under a Rowling tweet.
True to form with attention-seeking leftist radicals on Twitter, Willoughby suddenly identified as the victim once Rowling took notice of the insult.
It’s insane that my existence annoys two people on Twitter who between them have a combined Twitter following of 30 million people! That’s nuts, isn’t it? pic.twitter.com/klJO7Swc7P

Twitter users weighed in as well.
Love from India (the country) ❤️ Thanks for making my adolescence so magical 🧙♀️✨

Love for J. K. Rowling from the real India. LOL.
Thank you, Jo. I really mean it. I remember being utterly captivated by HP from page one of the first book. I was 27, lol, but it was like the first time I read Tolkien. That's the magic you've created and nothing will ever change that.

This is the arrogance of the radical trans activists. They believe their disagreement with Rowling over transgender issues is reason enough to destroy her career with people across the world who love her books.
Say what you want, @IndiaWilloughby, JK just got the W in two words. Don’t mess with writers.

Bingo.
No woman would ever say they’re more woman than another woman, that doesn’t even make sense…..

LOL.
How are you the same person that wrote a book series teaching a generation of us to fight for those that the world sees as less than? I have never been more disappointed to see the true side of someone I once admired than I have with you. You are the bully you taught us to fight. https://t.co/s6N6X5zSsS

There were many comments like this, calling Rowling a bully, because her comeback to someone attempting to bully her was so effective.
I know this is upsetting to some trans people, but India was literally attacking Rowling’s womanhood and identity. @IndiaWilloughby Is just an evil person. https://t.co/4ZgquiwL1p

Yep, that’s what we saw too.
This is the consistent misogyny I see from those appropriating womanhood. https://t.co/84TUXIxK3S

The Patriarchy – still undefeated. LOL.

“Did you read the Twitchy article?”
I didn’t. I will. That copy/paste of the text of tweets is one big wall of symbols and and gobbledygook and you can’t tell who is connected to which post.
Thx! We’re on the same page. I just wasn’t sure. I’m slow.
I tried inserting lines around tweets once. Threw article alignment off totally, so I gave up. I used to post that it was easier to read online, then I got a bunch of “I don’t read online,” so once again I gave up.
Can’t remember who, but one person posted perfectly, including boxes around tweets. I asked how, and it was complicated and involved posting images.
My husband was an easy-going guy, but two things he really disliked - cucumbers and acronyms....
Still undefeated
Good one it fits
Oops! I meant to say one person posted a Twitchy article perfectly.
Thank you. The article was gibberish.
The trans agenda (it’s not a homosexual agenda) is about erasing not only birth sex and social, cultural and biological identities but asking us to indulge fantasies. Transgender isn’t drag. It’s its own thing. Transgender also stereotypes what a male or female is. For millennia there have been girly girls and tom boys, bros and betas. That’s a spectrum of identity but the biological experiences of the same sex are foundational. Body dysmorphia and emotionalism one way or the other doesn’t supplant biological sex.
I’ve written several times on FR about my experiences socially and in the workplace with those who are trying to find peace through transgender identity. They are frequently not grounded but they most often suffered horrible abuse in their lives, don’t feel connected to their birth sex in a positive way. I have long felt they may be trying to kill the self that was the abuse victim by identifying with a “safer” alternate.
One of my friends lived decades as a submissive gay man and started transitioning years ago. At first there was euphoria and the illusion of happiness which lead to an engagement but that turned out to be another abusive fetishized relationship. My friend recently complained about discrimination in the workplace (in healthcare) and admitted to attempted suicide being the cause of a recent hospitalization.
Indulging people in disconnected fantasy and “supporting” them through genital mutilation and reissued birth certificates is a denial of reality and does nothing to help them heal and find a place to belong. It’s abuse.
I’ve noticed an uptick in non binary, pronouns, birth name rejection, etc among younger workers. It can be exhausting to keep up with the fluctuations. Pick a name or some identifying letter, number, symbol, grunt and stick to it. Pronouns too. Please and thank you. We’re at work to work not to be players in a chaotic narcissistic fever dream.
So nothing?
This is a joke, right?
So what were the two words?
Where are the two words?
It’s a phrase that’s come into use since the rise of Wikipedia. It’s over a decade and a half old in common usage.
When someone edits a Wikipedia page to add some fact that others doubt, through various processes a [Citation Needed] flag is placed at the end of the sentence or paragraph stating the fact. It basically means, “People think you are full of crap, provide original or generally accepted trusted sources to verify your assertion of fact or shut the f**k up,” only in a much more concise form. This then migrated to other internet sites such as forums and has even appeared on broadcast TV roundtables and forums.
OK, citation needed. Cite any lefty you wish, but don’t tell the TRUTH. Because TRUTH is the new HATE SPEECH.
Facebook still bans that scene from “Life of Brian”? I’m surprised that the success of Elon Musk’s Twitter hasn’t gotten them to change their libiot ways.
Has anyone from Monty Python talked about how prescient this skit turned out to be?
People who use they as a personal pronoun always make me think of people with multiple personalities. DID (Dissociated Identify Disorder, use to be Multiple Personality Disorder) occurs in children who were severely sexually abused as children for years. My guess is many theys were also victims of child sex abuse, and their disordered part(s) are demanding recognition. Indulging in fantasy enables that part(s) to express its hurt, but does not enable healing. Their lives will just get worse, like taking transgender drugs that harm or surgery that harms. Maybe they’ll work on healing when people stop enabling their fantasies.
Citation needed. Read post #73 for an explanation of phrase usage.
I try to look at twitter for things.
FR has spoiled me!
As someone who has considered getting breast enlargement surgery, I’ve looked at many plastic surgery sites. I’ve found that fake boobs look fake. They don’t rise naturally, and many times the implant is visible, i.e. I can see the outline of the implant. They might as well be bolt on boobs. It has gotten to the point that I can spot bolt ons in commercials or movies.
I read that Tampax hired a make believe AKA transgender woman to star in its commercials. Dylan Mulvaney is his name. Go woke, go broke.
