great series
if paras patel christian? I think I heard him on a religious app so think he is
This is a phenomenal series. Very moving, very powerful. Its production value is stellar as is the acting. It brings Jesus, the apostles and the time they lived in to life.
I will still wait for the video.
Really well done production.
Well acted and written.
Has great potential for a long run, maybe ending with John writing Relevation on Patmos.
Yes!
Plenty of room for more seasons.
I don’t watch tv but was talked into watching this. Glad I was.
Best use of the light box in years.
MASH created an 11-season series out of a 3-year war. How many seasons can The Chosen get from a 3-year ministry?
I too love the series. Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus, is Catholic. He spoke at the National March for Life and is on the Hallow app. (which is also very good). Dallas Jenkins, the brilliant creator of the series, is Evangelical. He works hard to ensure the content is consistent with both strains of faith and that Judaism is authentically represented.
11?
HollyWierd hates this.
I thought it had a longer run, but Wikipedia says it ran from 1972-1983.
It was Yogurt that said that!
I’m going to reveal my ignorance: I don’t have cable and know how or where to watch this show. Is it on Amazon , Netflix, Hulu? Where do I watch it? Thanks for any guidance.
(Being cable-less is usually not a problem. I can watch Tucker on YouTube an hour after his show ran live on cable; and for football games I can go to my gym. I do miss watching the pawn stars show, but you can’t have everything )
Go over to the website. Just google “The Chosen” or “Angel Studios.” They have a guide on how to watch it. I watch through a Roku.
Thnx
I’ve been binge watching this series. I am Jewish so I had spotty information on the story of Christ. IT is very well done. To take a story most everyone knows, keep as close as possible and still use modern vernacular and sensibilities is a hard feat to pull off. And they have. Excellent.
