Sadly principles don’t often win. Crowder is a man of principle. That means something.
A lot of conservative media has become watered down red-meat clickbait designed to distract.
The Republicans want money. The Democrats want power. The Republicans use power to get money. The Democrats use money to get power.
The ideology of the Democrats drives their donor funding. The donor funding of the Republicans drives their ideology.
Trust no one and carry a big stick... or something like that.
Truly, trusting any media company is a fools errand.
Elon Musk showed how one person (or company) with deep pockets can destroy, make worse, or improve any social media company but one day when it gets sold it may go the other way.
Gab is one of the best social media companies. I’m happy to see it sticking to Torba’s guiding principles of free speech. Unlike many entities he has not been corrupted by the lure of easy money.
“Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely”
I was on Crowder’s side of this argument until Steven released recorded phone calls with Boering.
That was a douche move.
I was a Mug Club member with The Blaze, but I’m not sure I’ll follow Crowder to his new platform or not.
I’ve heard of this Crowder guy before but never listened to his radio show (or whatever it is).
Anyone here like the guy ? Is his show any good
I hate to be a Grinch, and I love Crowder and will continue to do so. But as to Torba and Gab, which I hadn't yet read at any length, I'm quite disappointed. My Nut Meter pegged so badly I'll have to get a tech in here next week to reset it.
For all I know, what Torba is arguing in his vision of the ConservaSphere could be true, or mostly true. I've never heard that argument before. But Gosh, is he always like this? Dude, prove your case with the appearance of objectivity or close your mouth. You're smearing those who might agree with you--just by acting unhinged.
I have no interest in this but I did watch Jeremy do a video where he went line by line of the the agreement with Crowder. I have no perspective to judge fairness of the contract, but Jeremy putting the contract out in public does indicate he was negotiating in good faith. If Crowder doesn’t want to sign with them, he shouldn’t. Jeremy also mentioned several times that this about making money for his company. I just can’t see a problem with that.
Give me the $50 million and I’ll gladly turn over my social media accounts, my email contacts, and even my beloved mug.
The Left bought out Drudge and all Latin radio stations here in Florida to control thought.
He’s now the Dave Chappelle of conservative media!

Here is my problem. Steven says A Lot. What he never does is provide evidence. He talks about bulling, and how other CC’s are treated, Evidence please.
