Again with the code language. All the past “remedies” did not produce the desired outcome of the Left so they’re down to having no choice but throw out the test. Instead of the best and brightest, law schools, med schools, engineering schools, dental schools, etc. will have to push through the correct ratio of members of all groups to obtain “diversity,” competency (let alone excellence) be damned.
Just another attempt to make scholastic achievement worthless.
I predict even more kids will soon be racking up student debt but never getting a degree because they weren’t smart enough to be there to begin with, but will now be let in and allowed to put themselves in debt for nothing.
Before long, a person will be able to practice law if they identify as a lawyer.
All these exams (SAT, ACT, LSAT, etc.) should remain as options. These tests are equalizers. People who never went to school can use the SAT and ACT for college admission.
But, anyone who did go to school has an academic record of grades. Anyone applying to law school already has a college degree and a GPA (correct?). So, maybe less emphasis should be placed on the LSAT score.
They are eliminating objective measures in anticipation of the Supreme Court throwing out “affirmative action” discrimination.
Anyone who thinks you need to go to law school to learn the law, doesn’t know much about the law.
The sole purpose of law school is to limit the supply of lawyers and allow the practitions to charge confiscatory rates for work anyone with slightly high than average intelligence can learn on their own.
Do you know they call a lawyer who got Ds in law school? Your Honor.
