Why even have law school? Just pay a fee and you’re a lawyer.

Something like the British system in which a student gets a bachelors degree in law, and then starts at the bottom of the legal profession as a paralegal is better. That person could then serve an apprenticeship before becoming a full lawyer. It would be better for many, which is why it won't be done. The elites like the present system. Law is not really taught in law schools.
