I was in Hawaii when Elvis died. They had to pull the woman DJ off the air.. she was despondent..

When I was 14, my dad would take me to his hair ladies who were all partners in a small salon. They were also crazed, obsessed Elvis fans. Elvis pictures EVERYWHERE! Well, the day after Presley died, my dad took me in there for a cut. I swear, it was the longest damn three hours of my life!! They would snip once, then cry cry cry. Wish my late dad were still here, for many reasons, but also to ask him "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING???!"

She lived like than her grandmother and her father, I believe. Both had heart problems. Probably genetics. Plus, if she had a clot shot on top of that.. grim.

She has three daughters. One is 33 and the other two are fraternal twins who are 15. A son committed suicide a couple of years ago. It depends on how she has set up the estate in her will if she has one.

I remember dating a girl shortly before Elvis died.

She and her sister swooned over Elvis, and then, when they heard of Elvis’s death, they cried their hears out and were in mourning for almost a month.

Those girls are now women at least 10 years older than Lisa Marie. I’d bet they’re crying again.

Three generations all dying very young. I wonder if maybe it is genetics. Or maybe that Memphis water.
