This bunch of slugs should be banished to a far-off island.
Putin would surely take them?

I closed my eyes and tried for a moment to guess what a mouse jiggler was. I was, however, wrong.
I’ve read stories about enterprising folks able to collect salaries simultaneously from multiple full time jobs while “working from home”.
So some are slackers and others are overachieving frauds LOL.
What a disappointment. I first read the title as “Mouse Jugglers”.
And I really wanted to see some juggling mice.
It sounds like their positions are useless. I’m remote, but I don’t need checking up on.
I design jobs alone. No me, no design. It’s all metric based with tolerance levels.
I think many corporate jobs are nonsense, just so they can hire minorities and skirts.
That's not a hack. That's an evasion of responsibility. If I were in charge, he'd be sooooo fired.
If some company’s processes are so loose in regards to measurement of employee ‘deliverables’ that a mouse-jiggler will be satisfactory, there are far bigger issues.
A “mouse jiggler” on Amazon makes “the cursor travels randomly around the screen—for hours, if needed!”
Perfect for government employees. Nobody would be able to tell that you’re not at your desk.
Some of us know what it takes to actually be good at a hard job. It is not Latte or breakfast breaks or refreshment stands or even exercise facilities. These people are robbing us of the money we pay them through the purchase of over priced technology products and services.
Makes me want to drop out.
AutoMouseMover.exe does the job, and does not even have to be installed. However, there are two types of detection:
1) Checking for mouse movement, the absence of which will lead to a computer going to sleep
3) Checking for keystrokes and clicks. The above vendor has tools that will perform this tasks, but it needs to be installed, which is blocked on most machines these days.
Don’t ask me how I know this!
I bet Mayor Pete has been using these methods for appearing to be busy for years.
Surveillance State - bump for later....

Personally, wrote a simple .NET automation block to “press” the [Ctrl] key at some random (between 30 secs and 6 mins) interval. Works great.
For later.

During the coof telework days I called a co-worker (THE laziest EVER) and encouraged her to buy a helfer grandfather clock on eBay. When asked why,I replied that she could wind it once each day, tape her mouse to the pendulum and at least the boss might THINK you’re working, because your station is asleep all day and if I can see it, the bosses can too.
...then the fight started
If a company has to surveil mouse clicks to tell if their employees are productive there isn’t really any hope for them.
