House Republicans intend to release 14,000 hours of January 6 tapes that have been hidden from the public, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) revealed on Tuesday.
During an interview with Turning Point USA (TPUSA) president Charlie Kirk on his radio show, Gaetz said that releasing the tapes “would give more full context to that day rather than the cherry-picked moments of the January 6th committee.”
The Capitol building is monitored round-the-clock by an “extensive system of cameras” positioned both inside and outside the building as well as near other congressional offices on the grounds. The tapes could shed light on what happened inside and outside the west terrace tunnel, where the most violent clashes between police and protesters on January 6 occurred, and where Rosanne Boyland, a 34-year-old Trump supporter from Georgia, lost her life.
“On January 6, D.C. Metro and Capitol police assaulted nonviolent protesters with explosive devices, rubber bullets, tear gas, and in some cases, their own fists and batons,” American Greatness reporter Julie Kelly reported in November of 2021. “A tunnel on the lower west side of the Capitol building became a dangerous—and, likely for at least one protester, deadly—battle scene as police viciously attacked American citizens on the ‘hallowed’ grounds of the U.S. Congress.”
Thousands of hours of J6 tapes that could expose law enforcement abuses have been under protective orders, while certain “cherry-picked” clips have been allowed in court as evidence against hundreds of January 6 defendants.
The Florida Republican suggested that he secured this concession from House Speaker Kevin McCarthy last week during the House Speaker showdown.
“Kevin McCarthy told us he is going to get the evidence out in front of the American people and that means releasing the 14,000 hours of tapes that have been hidden that I think would give more full context to that day rather than the cherry-picked moments the January 6th committee tried to use to inflame and further divide out country,” Gaetz said.
“So yes, I do believe that part of this deal is a concession that we are going to get the truth out in front of the American people,” he added.
I think people will be shocked at the level of deception used by the democRATs to attack conservatives.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
They should START with video of people dressed as protesters stationed inside the building, who direct that the doors should be opened and outside protesters allowed in, and then led by the people dressed as protesters who had been stationed inside the building.
But I think we will see a collection of videos of:
Crowds milling about.
Crowds milling about outside.
Crowds milling about inside.
People walking where they weren’t supposed to walk.
My guess is that that is as good as it will get. 14,000 hours of it.
Why do I feel nothing anymore from articles such as this?? I feel more like I just wasted another 15 minutes of my life to read meaningless words...
Just goes to show the absolute refusal to give up totally on the word Hope...
All of the hidden things need to be shouted out and let God deal with them.
Simply replay in overkill mode all the clips of the police opening doors and baracades and escorting people thru the building, up and down the stairs...
Interesting thought just came to mind. IF there had been multiple videos of the reichstag fire and people could have known the truth, gotta wonder if hitler would have gained power...like the dems expected to do.
Me thinks God washed his hands of all this crap. A few passages come to mind of the old testament where he instructed the demise of individuals... Their families... And even their live stock...
But again I’m dreaming of a perfect world!!
Some will, those who obtain information from sources other than the partisan media favorable to the Deep State.
Most committed leftists do not care about deception against conservatives. They care about power, and they believe any action is acceptable if it forwards the power of the leftists.
With luck, those who will be shocked are a significant percentage of the electorate, perhaps 20-30 percent.
So far it’s just words. Time to deliver.
He better hurry if he’s going to do it because I just read yesterday on here that the J6 committee wants to archive their investigation and evidence for 30+ years where everything is unavailable, like the JFK files.
Yep, God was silent for long periods of time, while the people slid downhill to a point where they turned to God for relief.
I don’t think we have hit bottom yet. My best guess is that it will get worse.

I disagree with your premise. Here are some teachings for all of us at FR: I think that God is aware of, and allows all of these things for His ultimate purposes. He chooses ALL of the leaders and allows them to make the choices that will determine other courses that we sheeple make. Ultimately, we will all have to defend our choices that we made in life, as painful as some of them were. I am reminded by the Christian verse from Romans 13:1 “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.” Why does God let bad rulers stay in power? Saul’s poor leadership was allowed by God because it led to the Kingship of David. He also was appointed King to gather the people. The people wanted a leader like the Gentile Nations, so he gave them one. They gave them one that looked like a King and acted like a King, and when they cried out against Saul, he brought them David. But Saul was a righteous man, chosen by God, but his mission changed.
