Prince Harry bitterly believes he was only bred to offer literal spare parts for his brother in case the heir apparent ever needed new organs.
“Two years older than me, Willy was the Heir, whereas I was the Spare,” the exiled prince wrote in explaining the title of his memoir, “Spare,” which was officially released Tuesday.
“I was the shadow, the support, the Plan B. I was brought into the world in case something happened to Willy,” he wrote of his 40-year-old brother and current heir to the throne, William.
He said he understood his role was to be a “diversion” and “distraction” from his brother — or to provide “if necessary, a spare part” to him.
“Kidney, perhaps. Blood transfusion. Speck of bone marrow,” he added in morose detail.
He also noted how his dad, now King Charles III, could never be on a plane with his eldest son, William, “because there must be no chance of the first and second in line to the throne being wiped out.”
“But no one gave a damn whom I traveled with’; the Spare could always be spared,” Harry claimed.
“This was all made explicitly clear to me from the start of life’s journey and regularly reinforced thereafter,” he claimed of his apparent throwaway standing in the family.
Harry complained that the heir and spare clarification “wasn’t merely how the press referred to us,” but was also “the shorthand used by” his royal family, including “Mummy,” the late Princess Diana, “and even Granny,” the since-deceased Queen Elizabeth II.
He says he was aged 20 when he was first told that his dad had greeted his birth by quipping: “Wonderful! Now you’ve given me an Heir and a Spare — my work is done.”

Harry should really go by the old adage that it is better to keep one’s mouth shut and let others think him a fool than it is to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt. It is hard to believe he really is this stupid.
Meghan knew he is a mental case, she is manipulating him.
I am not a fan of the royal family, but I would guess they are aware of his emotional/mental issues and her oppurtunistic manipulation of a distressed man.
These guy is pathetic. Always trying to paint himself as a victim.
We four were boomers. My siblings went to the other three corners of the country. They were happy to criticize from far away. They DID show up to collect their disbursement. Jokes on them….there wasn’t much left.
The real bloodline king lived in Australia. But I believe he passed away a few years back.

Well they tried going without a monarch, killed the one they had, only to beg the exiled Prince nine years later, to come, and sit on his father's throne.
Several of her friends (and perhaps a family member) commented on this before they got married. Meghan is a very determined girl. Not just a narcissist, a megalomaniac...and she's getting her way.
She meant to marry a prince. This prince. And now that she's got him, she's manipulating him--controlling him--to her benefit. She probably realizes that though he is a prince, she will never be a real princess because she's a fake, a psychopath. If that is the case, she's most likely deeply angry about it. She's not good enough and she knows it.
It appears that he is overwhelmed by her control in this very toxic relationship. She is destroying him and his relationships with his family, his friends, and his country.
He is, at the same time, desperate to leave and desperate for more of what she's got.
Someone from his family needs to get to him ASAP.

That was meant to be humorous, not a legal decree.
The man is so screwed up. He has had every kind of preferment a person can have, and he snots around like a five year old spoiled brat. He had his choice of any young woman in the world, and he chooses a psycho. Pathetic.

Just because they found a way to replace the monarchy with something worse doesn’t mean monarchies are good.

Only Diana and her lovers know for sure.
But I don’t blame Diana. Charles was a prick from the getgo. Should have married Camilla and let Diana have a normal life.
