Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was captured on the House floor late Friday holding up her cell phone with former President Donald Trump on the line.
After the House Republicans' failed 14th vote to elect GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy to the speakership, Greene tried getting Rep. Matt Rosendale to speak with the former president.
'It was the perfect phone call,' Greene tweeted, sharing Bloomberg's photo of the moment, where Trump's initials 'DT' were clearly seen on her iPhone screen.
Rosendale, a Republican from Montana, had yelled out the name of Rep. Andy Biggs during the 14th round of voting.

Im not attacking trump. Im disappointed in him. I shook hands with the guy. My wife and I got to talk with him and his wife in Lake tahoe during celebrity golf tournament when the apprentice first came out. He was my guy when I felt that he was working for me, the little guy. I am losing that feeling.
The only thing i care about is keeping my current governor, Gavin Newsom, out of the oval office. So many here thought Kamala Harris getting to where she is was impossible, much the same way people are talking about Gavin Newsom. Trust me, if the GOP runs a dog against him he will win and Gavin Is WAY WORSE than Kamala. We need to get out of our fan boy corners and back the most powerful candidate we can run against Gavin. That is all that should matter.
Too dumb to know how to do it yourself?
In the private sector (or on a reality TV show) a boss can hire, fire, abuse, coddle, and shuffle personnel around to find the right mix of talents, work ethics, and team synergies. While Trump had massive policy successes, mostly based on his common sense and willingness to ignore "conventional" wisdom, the bull in the china shop and musical chairs approach to personnel were major failings.
Coupled with the fact that he was and will always be the ultimate outsider to the entire political establishment, the collusion between the Republican Party apparatus and the Democrat/Media/Academic/WEF et al machine in the grossest election fraud since 1960 was inevitable.
This entire charade was set up. Media portrayed a rift between Greene and Boebert prior. Even if you never read about it, pictures surfaced everywhere of Boebert gaetz and Greene. It made the entire clown show believable. Now Greene has cred with ever Trumpers and Boebert and Gaetz have cred with others. If you believe any of this was legit, I have beach front for sale in the Sahara. Don’t give any one cred, until they’ve made things happen, until they have earned it.
Joke satirizing Rudyard Kipling saying:
If You Can Keep Your Head When Everybody Around You Is Losing His, Then It Is Very Probable That You Don’t Understand the True Situation.
I agree, and will 100% support any strong Republican candidates we have.
I just never feel the need to tear down the other candidates to support my own personaly.
I adhere to Reagans Eleventh Commandment. “Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican.” With the exception being RINO’s
I know plenty about McCarthy. He’s a spineless weasel. He is the ultimate Swamp creature and IMO, you have to really look at people who worked hard to put him in charge.
In my book, McCarthy is just Turtle light. McC is a huge POS.
Add a Church Committe with Thomas Massie on ot. Also 3 members of the Freedom Caucus on the Rules Committee. It’s real. Hope KM follows thru. Votes on Monday.
100% but this fight by the hold outs was to get leverage over KM because they don’t trust him. They got that.
There wasn’t anyone else on the GOP who was a credible competitor. The 20 holdouts openly admitted this when they voted for Jim Jordan — who didn’t want the job and supported McCarthy — instead of McCarthy.
This. And they got many concessions out of McCarthy that he doesn’t have a lot of power.
"Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, holds her smart phone with former US President Donald Trump on the line, as Rep. Matt Rosendale, a Republican from Montana, waves it off during a meeting of the 118th Congress in the House Chamber on Friday."
Why are you hiding it?
Sorry … I’m not a FAN OF McCarthy …
There are the “Good” Bad Guys, and the “Bad” Bad Guys.
Neither are on our side.
So you are so stupid you don’t know how to do it yourself!
Thanks for admitting how stupid you are!
She’s an idiot. Looked like a child handing a phone to someone else after she called daddy to tell on them.
Why are you hiding it?
Inevitable McCarthy was going to get the vote. I’m okay with Trump getting some credit for pushing McCarthy over the finish line.
Kudos to the holdouts that made this a painful experience for McCarthy and his ilk.
