Tomorrow is January 6. J6. Imagine the exploding Democrat heads if President Donald Trump is elected Speaker of the House on that anniversary. CHAOS!
I think this is a win-win in a yuuuuge way. First of all it resolves the current deadlock in the House on the Speakership vote. And the votes for Trump would come from both conservatives and from the McCarthy camp since it would be the only way he would get his PRECIOUSSSSSSSS as long as he waits for Trump to step down in April. By that time Speaker of the House Trump would have instituted changes that would be impossible for McCarthy to undo. And McCarthy knows that if he even tried to undo them, he would be easily voted out.
Let's see what happens tomorrow. McCarthy has got to know about the Trump as Speaker for 100 days plan and if he endorses Trump for Speaker it would be his only path to his PRECIOUSSSSSSS.
Oh, and one incredible fringe benefit of Speaker of the House Trump would be him hovering over Biden from behind during the SOTU speech. That would have to UNNERVE Biden...unless he would be too chicken to show up for that speech.
I hope so. It would be great.

The nomination for Trump is not completely out of the blue. The potential plan was actually somewhat official back in November…

Trump must be Speaker until the 2020 Big Steal is reversed. If it takes more than 100 days, he need to stay until it’s fixed so he may return as POTUS as the American people duly elected him in 2020.

But the beauty of this plan is that Trump would be Speaker for just 100 days, enough time to put his plans in action. And it would be almost impossible for McCarthy to undo the course that Trump will have already set in the House. That is why it would be "safe" to have McCarthy succeed Trump as Speaker and would ensure the votes for Trump tomorrow as Speaker because he would be endorsed by McCarthy. I call this a win-win.
Put down the beer and step away from the keyboard.
