“I don’t understand what you think is gonna be accomplished by any speaker when we don’t have the Senate nor the presidency.”

Pure and simple... A road block for two years even if nothing does get passed. A GOP leader who allows the Dems to continue to dictate what the house passes from the Senate is the same as having them own all three again. A stalemate and nothing at all coming out of Congress is better than allowing the Dems to still control all three for the next two years.

During the Save America Rally, Donald Trump took the time to read a poem to the crowd.

Al Wilson - The Snake

Soul singer, Al Wilson made helped it come to life by recording The Snake into a song in 1968.

The Snake, written by civil rights activist Oscar Brown Jr in 1963, talks about a woman who tends to a sick snake and nurtures it back to health, only for the snake to bite her in the bed.

Lines included: "'Oh, shut up, silly woman,' said that reptile with a grin "'Now you knew darn well I was a snake before you brought me in.'"

Let’s be clear, McCarthy is your typical Chamber Rino. But as long as Trump, and, in my case, Marjorie Taylor Greene (Dist-14 GA), says he’s the man, I’m in. Of course, the real tell will be if McCarthy’s Chamber Rinos support Trump in 2024.

Back in 2020 House Freedom Caucus member Jim Jordan went to then Speaker of the House John Boehner to discuss working on a budget. Boehner stiffed Jordan and negotiated a massive omnibus spending bill with the Democrats. President Trump threatened a veto but eventually caved and signed it.

Fast forward to last week. Senate Republican minority leader, Mitch McConnell, colluded with the Democrats to cram through another omnibus spending bill before the Republicans took over the majority today, January 3. I believe 12 Republican senators voted for the bill.

John Boehner was replaced by Paul Ryan as speaker. Ryan reneged on his promise to Trump to fund the wall on the southern boarder. Ryan also refused to authorize any subpoenas by Devin Nunes investigating the Russian collusion hoax.

This types of betrayals are why conservative house members are so paranoid.

There are very few true representatives of the people in the snake pit that is known as washington DC.

The incumbents think “ Me instead of We”

Until the RINO’s are ridded and the party acts in unison like the Dems all we have is theater re true representation.

The conservative agenda should be to declare war on the likes of the FBI,DOJ,DHS,NIH,CDC, etc..

Add any other letters to the domestic enemies of Conservativism you wish..

The House can start that without the other 2 branches..

Justin Amash, put up by the Dems as unity candidate. Gets 10 to 15 GOP votes and there will be no investigations, Schiff, Omar, et al keep their committee seats, the Prog agenda slows but keeps moving forward. And all because a handful of Rep in the House are throwing a tantrum. As James Donald says at the end of River Kwai, “ Madness!! Madness!!”

“The conservative agenda is on hold until we have the house, senate and the presidency.”

You mean like we did for 2 years when Trump was President?

I think McCarthy wants this bad enough that he’d be willing to make some agreements with the true conservatives in the House. There’s just too much power at stake for him to not bend a little.

The conservative agenda is on hold until we have the house, senate and the presidency.

Conservative agenda will be on hold if and when we have the house, senate and the presidency. We’ve had it before and did nothing. Now with 3rd world elections, it won’t happen again.

CORRECTION:

“Back in 2020” should have been “Back in 2016”.

‘It’ll be McCarthy, especially as he has Trump’s support, which I don’t think he deserves.”

Why do I get a strange feeling Trump’s support is based on a quid pro quo?

So,,,,

Just saw a clip on news,,,

Dem saying if Kevin goes it will end up in the hands of Extreemists like

MTG !!!

/-)

Now I know what MTG knows.

The media would LOVE to pin this speaker struggle on

MTG

Make HER the narrative focus.

And the media just proved that on that news clip.

Uh, excuse me media, you can’t fearmonger narrative that if kevin goes Extreemists like mtg will rule

when MTG is rooting for Kevin to stay

See?, they are trying to revive the extreemist MTG narrative ,

even though she took that narrative and burried it with her support of kev.

Way to go girl /-)

She is out alyinskying them.

So don’t be mad at mtg,

she knows how to beat the cartel.

Does Trump know McCarthy isn’t the grown up Kevin he gave directions to at the Plaza in Home Alone 2?

That was Kevin McCallister.

I’d like to think Trump has some directions for McCarthy to follow, though.. it’d make your theory plausible.

MAGA Majority leader Trump isn’t voiceless..

I think we are seeing the slow demise of the GOP. They are nothing more than a rubber stamp for the Democrat/globalist agenda, despite the fact that the vast majority of their voters oppose that agenda. I think the conservatives opposing McCarthy as speaker have succeeded in showing that McCarthy is an empty suit, but in the end, he'll likely be voted in as speaker, and it will be more of the same from the do-nothing GOP.
