Ukraine is on the defensive side of the war. It is Russia that has declared that Ukraine is "not a real country" that was mistakenly given its own state by past soviet leaders (who often inflicted mass murder on Ukrainians).
Russia has said the same of all other formerly Soviet controlled countries at one time or another.

There are 349 political parties in Ukraine. Zelenskyy with the support of the Ukrainian parliament banned 11 Pro-Russia political parties. Similarly, Ukraine has sanctioned or outright banned Pro-Russia media outlets and outlets tied to Moscow.

Russia has long persecuted Protestant and Catholic religious groups in Russia, using "anti-cult" legislation to crack down not just on weird groups like the Jehovah's Witnesses, but on evangelization of efforts of mainstream Christian groups.

Russians should practice their fake religion in Russia, not in countries they are currently invading, raping and pillaging.
Pro-Russian sources are squeeling right now and pointing fingers over the possible 600 dead Russkies right now mentioned in the OP, so it is not “propaganda.”
Could the US give Ukraine fuel air explosives aka thermobaric bombs to use against the Russians on the front lines and perhaps against targets deeper inside Russia? Would that bring the suffering closer to the Russian people to give them some better perspective on what Putin is doing?
Up until June 1941, during the days of the “blitz”, Britain was alone. That is what Churchill was recalling, in 1945.
And the proper quibble in this is not about the USSR being involved later, but about the British Commonwealth and Empire (India, Canada, Australia, etc.) and the US, which was being extremely helpful.

What if we supplied Ukraine with fuel air explosive bombs, thermobaric bombs and the drones to deliver them and the capability to hit Russian civilians deeper inside Russia with them? Bring the terror and suffering directly to Russian civilians in cities in Russia?
