A 'gentle and kind' family doctor who was subjected to death threats from anti-vaxxers during the pandemic has died suddenly.
Hong Kong-born Dr Wilson Chin, who broke down in tears describing the abuse he received running a Covid vaccination clinic on the Gold Coast, passed away shortly before Christmas.
Dr Chin made headlines in January, 2022 when he described the impact of a false rumour, spread on social media, that two girls who fainted after treatment at Pacific Pines MedCentres, had in fact died.
The rumour claimed two girls collapsed and began screaming. But Dr Chin told 9News at the time the episode was simply 'a fainting episode' unrelated to the vaccine.
The girls suffered no ill health impacts after fainting.

Young. Healthy. Fully vaxxed up to his wahoo most likely. But stupid.
Good thing Dr. Chin was vaxxed and boosted or his symptoms would have been worse!
Guess that is the end of his death threats. Funny how none of these people have caller ID?

Have the threats ever been verified or was it just him telling people? If they were verified, why wasn’t anyone prosecuted?

You should be able to look up Pfizer somewhere on the internet.
His own worst enemy.
And unexpectedly
You know darn well that China would immediately track down any death threat and they have the absolute means to do it. They wouldn’t hesitate to immediately deal with and publicize anything that would interfere with the vax program.
Looks like those dastardly anti-vaxxers were the least of his problems.
At least he died knowing he was fully vaccinated
The Gold Coast is in Australia. The doctor was born in Hong Kong (When it was British), but he’s in Australia.
When it mentions Gold Coast that makes me think this is Australia. Same thing I suppose in terms of Covid sadly.
He issued his own death. Shame none of those horrible anti vaxxers were never caught.
