A reminder that the exploding drug crisis in the United States is not being driven solely by drug traffickers on the border but also by average U.S. citizens too:
A Dallas flight attendant pleaded guilty to drug trafficking after she was caught smuggling fentanyltaped to her abdomen at San Diego International Airport.
Terese L White, 41, pleaded guilty in federal court, admitting she abused her privileges as a flight attendant to smuggle the deadly drug through Transportation Security Administration screenings.
The lady thought she could get away with it because she had special prerogatives as an airline worker. But she was wrong:
She attempted to skip a TSA screening using the Known Crewmember line, which speeds up screening for airline crew.
Despite waiting in that line she was selected for regular screening, which was when TSA officers discovered the concealed packages taped to her abdomen.
You can picture this lady's reaction after getting signaled out from the express line:
Give this lady credit, she really tried to worm her way out of it:
She initially told law enforcement that the package was 'not what you think,' claiming it was a weight loss device she received from a colleague.
Ahh, yes, the old "these drugs are a weight control regime!" That's what every competent drug smuggler tells the feds when they bust him with a bunch of pills.
I was surprised when I saw it and commented on it to the doc. He gave me assurances it was fine.
But I’ve grown highly skeptical about doctor assurances after my GP told me to “follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID.
😁🚫😷💉🐎💩 Advice to be declined for sure. We remain NON GMO at our house.
I think her motivation was easy money being a mule, or selling the product for a huge profit.
If they started to to charge these people whit attempted murder,it might make them think twice. But they won't because there is no desire to stop the destruction. People are making huge amounts of money.
Vicious, beatch
There are some who think arsonist murderers should get burned alive.
They think knife murderers should get a knife to the gut.
They also think firearm murderers should get a gunshot to the abdomen.
In their world, Fentanyl murderers should get an overdose of Fentanyl.
On the other hand, some might think that isn’t appropriate. They might suggest Fentanyl murderers should get burned alive, stabbed, or shot too.
Furthermore, some of them might say that is too extreme, and perhaps locking them in a gymnasium with a thousand angry people whose relatives died from a Fentanyl overdose, and arm the relatives with wrist rockets and ball bearings (to make it sporting) is more appropriate.
I am on the fence here.
The new metric is how many people it can kill versus the weight of the drug.
It is a very effective painkiller used by oral surgeons and general anistseologists all over the world.
The crime is well-beyond “drug smuggling” ... it should be “attempted mass murder” ... and add a “hate crime” bonus to it because it’s clear that this “bitch with a capital ‘c’” hates Americans.
LOL...that’s a great post!
Pam Greer?
That is one mean looking sistah.
Unfortunately, she will end up doing 2-4 in some medium security federal prison like Danbury, CT.
My younger brother used to work for the Fed Bureau of Prisons. He went there for a conference/training once. He said almost all the women in there were caught smuggling or distributing drugs. A lot were the baby mamas of the drug dealer.
Personally, I believe in harsh punishment for harsh crimes.
I believe in swift, accurate judgement, and immediate and public application of the death penalty where it applies.
The death penalty does not as currently constituted work as a deterrent, since decades pass between conviction and execution, and by the time it actually happens, very few in the public remember the crime.
I understand the reticence of some who feel that an innocent person could be executed, and I respect that reservation.
But I feel we long ago entered the realm where the defendant’s lives are far more meaningful and valued than those whose lives they took, which is a moral travesty.
We can do better at this, and we should.
In the case of this flight attendant, life without parole, really without parole, would be appropriate unless they could link her directly to the death of another human. In that case, the death penalty is entirely appropriate.
How about, if they survive the burning, gunshot, knife wound and the ball-bearing barrage, we let them off with scaphism?
I’m Terese. Fly Me!......................
Hopefully, the RATS on the Hill will go to the Supreme Court to get us all a copy of her tax returns.
Those SA customs people and the courts don't mess around
Hmmm. Pondering the possibility that someone knew what she was up to and worked with TSA to bust her.
Pay attention kids, as much as we like to complain about the cops or whatever, follow this rule:
Don’t try to beat the cops at their own game.
In fact... New tagline.
I got it for my colonoscopy
