The Biden Blackouts are sweeping the nation.

Forget domestic energy capability.

Ukraine is much more important to the U.S citizenry.

5 degrees F this morning near Quantico VA. Doors of my car frozen shut, and even after a 20 minute drive, the electric windows frozen shut.

Sheesh. So much for “global warming”!

It’s 21 degrees here in NE Texas. 12 degrees where I used to live in Maryland.

Humorous: TVA (government) instituting 'rolling blackouts' (PURE BS) around East Tennessee as a result of the National Weather Service (government) declaring that we are ALL victims of this 'once in a generation' storm.

LOLOL!

Same thing here. My fuel oil boiler can’t keep up with the cold. The thermostat is et to 72 degrees but the house never got over 67 degrees yesterday(Thursday).

we had a coal/wood furnace when i was a kid....all gravity, we piled coats on us at night. Mom would turn the oven on for a bit with a pan of water inside. Rushed to get to school where it was toasty warm.

It was a big job keeping that furnace going...but the "smoked" baked apples hot from the furnace were to die for.

I rent a farmhouse built in 1920....no insulation. Heat is set at 64. Had a windy day yesterday and everytime a gust blew, the furnace kicked on. Wind is a nightmare as it blows through the house. We have plastic on the windows but not the walls. ;-)
We keep the bathroom door closed with an electric heater on in the room. It gets down to 56 in there so it's a must to have the heater. It's a toasty 70 and everyone loves that room.

Five degrees in Lenoir City, TN, at 6 a.m. TVA is having rolling blackouts, so we are powerless for 15-minute intervals every once in a while. (Does it bother anybody that “THEY” can control your heat remotely? I guess they always could, but after Covid these things seem more sinister.)

Installed two wood stoves this summer to offset the crazy increase in electricity rates here in Northen Sicily, Italy since I can get all the wood I need for free.

Today it was 65 degrees and hasn't been cold yet this year. Butttttttt . . if I'd said, "screw it" this summer and not installed the stoves it would have no doubt been record cold here since the middle of November. Lololol!

Hey brother, install a wood stove in your house! The quality of the heat a wood stove kicks out just cant be beat and there's nothing that can break either.

everyone had a pair of those heaters in their cart.

Aren’t there laws or regulations against hoarding? If not, it is on the way..........................

Yes there are laws. And has Clinton told us, it depends on what is is.

In spite of heat mats and a radiant heater all of the plants in my greenhouse are frozen and likely dead.

Mother Nature needs a prozac.

We just ordered a generac generator to cover power outages.

Restricting fuel and trying to replace it with wind and solar is a bad formula.

Apparently, Blackrock and Vanguard will be using their financial power to purchase shares and force change.

it has been about 50 in my bedroom and down to -18 lately. Plenty of firewood for the mornings. This morning I woke up to running water. lucky enough it was a stool did not shut off. FedEx delivered my food when it was below Zero. Electric blanket is the best part of winter.

In northern Colorado, where it was below zero for 40+ hours, I spent most of yesterday either getting or giving jump starts. I have two vehicles, and can usually start one with the other, but yesterday they were both dead. Turn the key and just get clicks. So a bunch of neighbours got together to help get everyone’s cars started.

I keep our temp at 77 normally, last night it got down to 73, it was 47 outside this morning, brrrr! I’m in far southwest Florida, thank you very much God! Been living here 6 years and have never turned on the heat. We do have those hurricanes, tho.

This morning I found out where there are leaks around certain doors in house that I did not know were there. Duct tape to the rescue! We’re in FL so not that big of a deal, but now I realize my AC is having to overcome the leaks in the summer.
