AA is going woke? How horrible. I read most the the book, and attended some meetings with a friend with addiction problems. I considered many of the principles application in anyone’s life, very sound.

AA is not going woke; however, since it has a open-door policy, the infiltration is intense. Social Workers and other commies hate the program (as written), and there are many tons of commie infiltrators, trolling for feeble minds. AA works best for most, when the work is done by the Book.

I went to several groups for 3.5 years before I was taken to a group of Big Book thumpers. By doing the work over and over, and helping others go through the work, and speaking according to the Big Book, we all tended to memorize many paragraphs and pages of the first 164 pages.

The woke meetings tend to be at the big meeting places, Fellowship and Alano places in most cities. Those get van-loads of treatment center visitors, and many of those visitors return when they graduate. And they bring in their revolving-door lingo with them.

There are still many smaller meetings off the beaten track that are "No BS".
