Yep, this is the likely result of grossly overweight people who over-endulge themselves and say “body positivity!”
Lizzo, are you paying attention?
Ummmm...
:)
Yup- i remember years ago when Camryn Manheim was the toast of the town as she “celebrated her size”
Should we celebrate peoples drunkenness?? Drug use?
I understand its tough for some people to keep weight off- i don’t have that problem and neither does anyone in my family. But celebrating the fact you’re overweight will lead to trouble.
Very sad to see whole groups of people who think “style” and feeling good about themselves is gonna help them to live longer lives. All of baby dolls friends heading down that same early disability, early death path.
Think about it....how many +++size women like them do you see that are healthy and active that are older than 55 years?
Unfortunately, many obese people don’t care to understand the stress being obese places on every part of your body. It’s not just your bones and joints but the inflammatory damage to vessels and the strain on one’s heart. The circulation is also greatly affected, which is terrible because your body needs oxygen. Things will die off without it. My goodness, why hurt yourself like this?
That is so for outside any normal weight that all bets are off. But odds are it contributed to her death.
“f you are a 400 pound black woman you are predisposed to heart issues and diabetic issues.”
As usual it is women and/or minorities who are hardest hit
"process this tremendous loss"
Wonder when Lizzo is going to flop over?
What’s the over/under that it happens in the middle of a “performance.”
Thanks, I needed that.
Yeah. The main thing is to control what you can.
Eat healthy...usually.
Workout out moderately.
Get proper sleep.
Meditate/pray.
Take some supplements for health. (or not)
For most, use the Pareto Principle.
In the course of my day, I see this grossly overweight guy, maybe five six, probably 275 plus, go outside to have a smoke. He is overweight, is on his way to becoming diabetic and smokes to boot. I want so much to give him some advice, but do you think he would listen, much less take any advice? I doubt it...
Gosh, who could’ve seen that coming?
My pleasure.
Just doing my duty for “body positivity”...
No doubt Lizzo could be next.
Needs flour
I work out like a wildman- 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours daily. Addicted to it.
Also take a lot of vits; D3, zinc, niacin, quercetin. All of it helped me stay away from covid despite not being vaxxed
I’m only a partial madman now. Too much will become deleterious eventually.
I’ve been training since 13 and never stopped.
I’m 47, how about you?
1- every time i see grotesquely over weight people i wonder how anyone could let themselves go like that.
2- in August i voted in the NY primaries. It was me and 8 poll workers at night. One of the poll workers was a 300Lb overweight guy in his 60’s. He’s talking to a worker on the other side of the room and says, “I betcha we’ll be getting a 5th covid shot soon!” No ability to think for himself, no reasoning- they were going to tell him to get another shot and he was going to take his 300lb body and get injected. I laughed and had to restrain myself from saying, “I haven’t gotten a single shot yet- feel free to take my five!!”
