In an extraordinary intrusion on congressional oversight, the Justice Department used grand jury subpoenas to secretly obtain the personal email and phone data of at least two top House Intelligence Committee investigators back in November 2017 just as they and their boss, then-Chairman Devin Nunes, were assembling bombshell evidence of FBI abuses in the Russia collusion probe, Just the News has learned.

The subpoena does not specify which component of the DOJ was leading the investigation, but included a numbering system suggesting it was being handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Washington D.C.

The FBI and the DOJ combined have almost unlimited power and there is no practical mechanism for stopping them. Add in the intelligence agencies and ask yourself "Who is like this beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
As an aside, I am not saying the Deep State is the Biblical Beast. But, seriously, can we imagine a beast with greater human/natural (i.e., not supernatural) strength?

Will the new congress actually investigate this unconstitutional act?
They will have the capability. They have the smoking gun. They have the precident of the Jan 6th investigation. But there are way too many deep state agents in the Republican party.

I am 56 and when I was younger, we talked about the FBI having a paper file on many people without their knowledge. Well, that file is now digital and expanded.
