Nunes said the subpoenas gave the DOJ and FBI unprecedented potential to learn in real-time what his investigation was learning about misconduct in the Russia probe. He called on the new Republican Congress to probe the subpoenas aggressively.
“The FBI and DOJ spied on a presidential campaign, and when Congress began exposing what they were doing, they spied on us to find out what we knew and how we knew it,” Nunes told Just the News. “It’s an egregious abuse of power that the next Congress must investigate so these agencies can be held accountable and reformed.”
Will the new congress actually investigate this unconstitutional act?
They will have the capability. They have the smoking gun. They have the precident of the Jan 6th investigation. But there are way too many deep state agents in the Republican party.

If the House doesn’t retaliate by cutting off funding to the DOJ unless people are prosecuted for the crime of violating the separation of powers, then the House is fully owned by the DOJ.
Deep State is running our government. We don’t have a government by the people for the people anymore except, perhaps, at the state or local level.
An unelected and unaccountable bureaucratic Pretorian guard is running the entire show. BOTH parties should pull the DOJ and stomp the living crap out of them with budget cuts for the violation of the executive branch spying on the legislative branch.
Right now, nobody watches the watchers and they are running wild and have eviscerated the rule of law and destroyed the representative republic.
