And growing.
Most of these people are good and decent people.
They need to be educated however - in just about everything.

“Looks a lot like a smokeless fire pit.”
Yep, that is exactly what it is. It takes advantage of what they call “Secondary Burn” of the gases after the first burn. Which is how a smokeless fire pit works.

The important things are these are low cost, more efficient and less wasteful than available alternatives, and needed in poorly developed countries.
To: Openurmind
Only $27. I might get one. Handy to have when Brandon ends "fossil" fuels.

Ya, cuz providing them with the energy sources necessary to move to a productive, self-sufficient culture over the last 60 years, would have meant they could have benefitted from their own natural resources, and impacted the West’s ability to exploit them.

Absolutely, like the rest of Wakanda does. Pure imagination, nothing remotely resembling reality.

I wonder if it burns dung cleanly.
Because that is a big problem in some of those areas. Egad.

Yes.
I was watching a video a while back, and the African physician who wanted a diesel generator would only be eligible for any kind of aid if he accepted ONLY solar panels. If he purchased or was given a diesel generator to use in his small dispensary, it made him automatically ineligible.
Just burned my ass to read that.

Lol, probably burns dry dung cleanly but it still won’t smell any better. :)

For areas where wood is scarce, there are other types of stoves designed to burn things like chaff from grain crops. And in sunny areas, you can make a solar oven with anything reflective enough, including soda cans.

This must be the 20th article I’ve seen over the years for low-pollution, clean burning stoves for sub-Saharan African countries.Me, too!

I attended a “Maker Fair” a couple years ago in San Mateo, CA. A similar company was showing their breakthrough low pollution stove for sub Saharan Africa.
It strikes me as a low-tech, small-scale scam to get a good payday.
