Here’s a Waffle House fight video that’s not really about the fight. It’s about the guy who just doesn’t care. This man is a true Waffle House OG. He just smiles as a fight breaks out behind him at a Jacksonville Waffle House. Dude just gonna enjoy his grits. And is that the 2 pork chop side? I think this guy is ordering off the menu. And who is yelling for security? Does Waffle House have security? I thought the employees were in charge of the fights?
And a word of caution if you’re at work or the kids are nearby – turn down the sound. There’s a lot of strong language. I mean, it’s a Waffle House fight. That’s part of the deal.
How many Splendas you need my guy? He’s got like 8 packets.
As far as Waffle House fight go, this one is pretty tame. Jacksonville Waffle House seems pretty calm compared to some of the others. I’ve watched this video a few times and also noticed that no one leaves. The people getting thrown out do, but it’s not like people are rushing the exit.

Jacksonville, wow. No one got shot.
Shrimp and grits is a different dish, but DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!
That’s good too...(as long as it’s not stringy cheese...)
👍
Reminds me of a Rudyard Kipling poem...
“If you can enjoy your grits, while all others around you are losing their sh*t”
Aside from the best grits and hash browns in the south - Waffle House’s a gauge for how bad Hurricanes and Tornado are in local communities:
https://www.accuweather.com/en/accuweather-ready/what-is-the-waffle-house-index/667995
“The Waffle House Index is an informal measure of a storm’s severity and its effect on a stricken community. It comes from Waffle House’s reputation for being well-prepared for disasters and either remaining open during disastrous weather or reopening shortly afterward.”
“Craig Fugate, who was then the FEMA Administrator, coined the term shortly after the Joplin tornado of May 2011. The massive tornado devastated the town and caused $2.8 billion worth of damage. It also killed 158 people and injured roughly 1,150 others. Both of the Waffle Houses in Joplin, however, remained open.”
I’m m from Jax. Not the first Waffle House fight I’ve seen. 😉
Who the hades can enjoy a breakfast with all that moronic toxic crap going on? That guy apparently. Kerfuffle House.
Thank you. Just emailed that photo to my youngest daughter, who loves Waffle House.
Not my monkeys, not my circus. But it is my breakfast.

ah; and here I was thinking you were challenging Brigham Young’s record...
The worst food I ever encountered in a WH, and I have been in many of them, was in Atlanta, the home of the brand.
I tried out the Denny’s here with a group of my wife’s friends, all first timers. Among seven of us, not one’s order was correct. After the waitress left and everyone started to realize the errors a couple of the ladies said they would send it back. I noted that ALL of the orders were wrong and said the replacements would also be wrong. If what you got is palatable, we should just settle for it and don’t come back. We did it that way though my wife mentioned to the clerk at the register that all the orders were wrong. She did not react, just took our money and said, “Have a nice day,” Hence I don’t go into Denny’s anywhere.
Well at least she didn’t sass you with “kiss my grits!”
I like grits. I have grits with melted butter often in the morning.
My morning coffee gang, we call ourselves the Denny’s Counter Intelligence team, enjoy the service and special attention we receive at the counter. Have to admit we’re not shy about returning the chow to the kitchen for repairs, especially when new cooks are in training. The management fully supports our “quality control” efforts.
I had one bad dining experience over the years at WH, whilst passing through Chattanooga. I’ll bet that crew was new and didn’t last long.
