The mom took to Reddit to reveal an airplane passenger confronted her for having her toddler in first class — was she wrong to do that?
After an airline passenger allegedly accosted a woman because she had her toddler in the plane's first-class section, the anonymous mom took to Reddit to ask others if it was wrong of her to book first-class plane tickets for her young child — and people chimed in.
The Reddit user, One-Criticism5777, turned to the "Am I the A******" subreddit on Saturday, Nov. 26. She said a male passenger accused her of sitting in the wrong boarding class on purpose — and that he went on to call her a derogatory term.
The mother said she and her husband had "decided to splurge" on their cross-country flight for Thanksgiving. They booked a first-class ticket for their nearly 3-year-old daughter, who was traveling with them.

It was a great pair of flights. It wasn't the children in coach that I was concerned about.

It was awful.
A lady in the tow behind me was flying with her son. I think he was about 4-5. He absolutely freaked out. I heard his mom tell the guys hating their tow that the kid was autistic and she had thought he’d be ok.
In one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen, the man engaged with the kid and kept him distracted for the entire flight. He eased the kid down and gave his mom a break.
She was in economy?
“Homosexuals cannot reproduce.”
Well, that escalated quickly.
Yeah these days the last thing you have to worry about it young kids. It’s the maniac parents and overall psychotic adults either drunk or whacked out on pills.
Flying has gone so downhill the last ten years. I used to love trips now I dread them.
>>The brat finally stopped when I reached my arm around and squeezed his leg as hard as I could. He stopped.<<
LOL! Good for you; it was the perfect solution!
Oh Laz such agony
You win
A few years ago a very obese middle age man sat next to me. I could tell he was embarrassed. It was uncomfortable for me (I’m not thin). Luckily it was only a two hour flight. If it was a longer flight it would have been hard to endure. It’s entertaining to watch passengers eye the obese, the handicapped, those with babies and children, bible carriers etc. make their way down the aisle. Being in the south, and a frequent flyer on the kiddie flights to Disneyland, I prefer a snotty nosed baby over an attractive, thin person who “won’t shut up.”
Swell
So reddit is the source for news?
Meaningless moronic mouthings are taken as something significant.
I just bought bluetooth noise canceling headphones in anticipation of my vacation next may.

Worst flight I ever had was a thirty something business woman deciding to use her cross country flight to do business at full volume all flight long. Worse than any child I ever flew with
Worst flight I ever had was sitting in front of Senator Murkowski’s mother in law in “business” class on a fight from CA to Hawaii about a decade back. She spent most of the flight telling her seatmate what a great person Murkowski is. It was a nauseating experience.
When I was stationed in DC and then after as a contractor I had to take many trips to Europe, mostly Germany and Belgium. One trip I got onboard my favorite United flight from Dulles to Frankfurt, GE. It was the usual 747 and the crew knew me pretty well.
At the last minute a military family with eight kids boarded on Standby and the kids were spread throughout the cabin with their ten-year-old sitting next to me. He then proceeded to talk for the entire 9+ hours with the only respite coming when I convinced him to take a nap for an hour. The cabin crew checked on me and the young lady sitting on the child's other side but the parents never showed once. Many passengers offered to move seats to get all their kids next to the parents but the parents declined. They used us as free babysitters.
Revolting
I would think first class offers some sort of headphones? Those should work real well for complaining adults!
These people with the kid paid good money for the seat
I’ve taken my very young children to restaurants where a meal costs more than most peoples mortgage-granted they’ve grown into well behaved children but if I’m paying, there was no pushback when we asked about young children, etc take it up with the f*cking restaurant for not having a policy
Ironically I suspect you don’t frequent first class establishments
This was before that, back in 2000.
True.
.
Fox News cannot be bothered to look for election fraud, or for vaccine adverse effects, or for a host of other important stories. Instead, they pick this meaningless drivel off of Reddit. Sad.

Scraping social media sites is what many so called newsrooms do because it’s cheap and easy. Zero investigative journalism. Zero actual information of value for the reader. But is won’t accidentally piss off some mega corporate advertiser. Journalism is so very dead in the mainstream. The corporate press is trash.
