Paul is right here, monitoring private domestic communications w/o a warrant is illegal. My bigger problem is that nobody is being prosecuted.

Wray’s sitting there thinking, “How many more ways from Sunday is it going to take to shut this guy up?!”. Beaten, shot at, nearly mauled by rabid mob, what next?

When you use social media you don’t own any of the content that you publish. If the private company wishes to give all of that material to the government, at their request, they are perfectly within their rights to do so.

The only thing that would be illegal is if the government demands the information under threat, without the willful cooperation of the private company, with no warrant.

That doesn’t seem to be what is happening here. They’re more than happy to harvest specific data about specific users (probably conservatives) and hand it over willingly.

Trump needs to be asked if he regrets hiring Wray.

Wray was appointed by Donald Trump. Big mistake, imo

Wray could quote Commodore Vanderbilt’s son: “Law? What do I care about the law? Hain’t I got the power?”

I'm not in agreement with that. I'd like to see it adjudicated.

Are there any provisions in the Patriot Act for this?

Though it would be nonsense, what powers are allowed under a state of emergency for Covid?

Didn't see the video. Did Wray laugh?

If a cop comes into a store and asks the owner about one of their customers, the owner can decide to disclose information or not. I don’t see this as any different. They’re choosing to provide the information that they own per their terms of service. Requiring it without a warrant would be illegal but I see nothing making the claim this is what is happening.

I like Rand but it’s the same old Fauci theater. They sit there and berate each other then go yuk it up over lunch/dinner and cocktails together.

The marxist Biden cabal controls the gutless Merrick Garland and Garland has firm control over the vapid Wray. The Marxist cabal has turned the FBI that they once hated and despised into their Stassi.

The FBI doesn’t follow any stinking laws, and Congress can’t do a thing about it.

“They’re more than happy to harvest specific data about specific users (probably conservatives) and hand it over willingly.”

Especially if they are being paid subsidies for it. This is the problem... Greed at any and all costs including the safety of their users and supporters.
