Trump was a newbie politician in DC. He spent his life building sky-scrapers and golf resorts. Trump got recommendations from GOPe lifelong career politicians and Trump had no time to do a thorough background check on the hundreds of people he hired for his admin.

“”Wray was appointed by Donald Trump. Big mistake, imo””

One of his many mistakes in picking people in 2017- hope he’s learned and will do BETTER the next time around!

Wray is a slimy POS. Trump appointed him from the direct rec of Chris Christie.

Bush recommended Barr.

How many years now have repubs been “scolding” Wray?

He’s still there.

Since when does the “law” mean anything to democraps. I mean, besides never..

What Democrat?

Wray is a Republican, appointed to his position by President Trump himself.

Remember, "I only hire the best!"

Of course. Nothing was ever Trump's fault.

If he's re-elected in 2024, will everything once again be someone else's fault?

All Democracies have collapsed when their Justice systems become corrupt; Cuba, Venezuela, and Argentina to name a few.

Wray’s sitting there thinking, “How many more ways from Sunday is it going to take to shut this guy up?!”. Beaten, shot at, nearly mauled by rabid mob, what next?

Wray's boss is doing the best he can.

Big tech is doing it with the explicit permission of the democrats who assured them they won’t be prosecuted for the crime of violating the first and fourth amendments.

Trump made many bad choices, the worst of all were both his choices for Attorney general. Wray was a different story. I think he was long time associated with FBI and at the time he seemed like a big improvement over James Comey.

Again, Trump hired over 1000 people in his admin. You can’t expect him to go over with a fine tooth comb over every resume which lands at his desk. All presidents rely on recommendations by high ranking politicians.

And on 2nd point, I would expect Trump has learned his lessons from his first term. Otherwise even I would be disappointed.

For it’s worth, Chris Wray was recommended to Trump by Chris Christie.

The day Trump nominated that SOB I was bemoaning the “Bushite stretch all over him”. I never dreamed he would turn out to be THE coup kingpin. They could have never gotten away with it without their fixer at DOJ.

Wonder if Chris Wray knows he’s being tapped.

A lot of questions about that boy.

Encouraged by law schools, liberals and the deep state now view the law as a tool to protect their friends and punish enemies. This the attitude that Lincoln predicted would end the country.

The House needs to grow a pair next session and use the Holman Rule on Wray & sections of the Bureau!
