Wrong question.

More to the point, who’s gonna do anything about it?

Wray was appointed by Donald Trump. Big mistake, imo

If Wray were appointed by anyone else who calls themselves a conservative, FR would brand them as a RINO, Deepstater, Uniparty, etc.

“If he’s re-elected in 2024, will everything once again be someone else’s fault?”

Maybe he should be like the left and “take full responsibility”, which means absolutely NOTHING, yet it absolves them (supposedly) of any guilt.

Or

Maybe Trump should just say “I apologize if anyone was offended” like liberals do.

TRUMP 2024 MAGA, MAGA, MAGA.

You TWERP! (”I apologize, if you were offended”)

“ For it’s worth, Chris Wray was recommended to Trump by Chris Christie”

and was one of the very few candidates McConnell promised to get confirmed in the senate.

Can’t you just hear Wray talking to Fauci? “How’d you put up with this guy? What’s your secret?”

“I am the law” -FBI

Burn that next of vipers to the ground. Fire everyone in that corrupt organization, Every single one of them is irredeemable. The stink is on everyone from Wray down to the guy who mops the floors.

Whatever defense we may offer for Trump, he got his punishment for hiring turkeys like Wray. He lost to Biden because Wray - his own stupid appointment - helped destroy his reelection

Trump has his reward for hiring Wray. His reward was that his administration and reelection campaign were sabotaged, allowing Biden to beat him

That’s Justice for Trumps bad decision, but unfortunately it punishes the rest of us too

Next go around Trump should fire everybody and just make recess appointments for every position. Eff the Senate approval sending him their short list of traitors.

Reason or excuse it’s reality. Trump’s not going to nominate someone McConnell won’t confirm. And back then Trump didn’t know how deep the deep state went. He thought McConnell and Christie were allies who could be trusted. He now knows how wrong he was.

“Trump got recommendations from GOPe lifelong career politicians and Trump had no time to do a thorough background check on the hundreds of people he hired for his admin.”

This was true about much/most of his administration, not just in personnel (an arena in which his instincts are execrable). As a political operative friend told me, “Trump was more than willing to go to war with the Democrats, but he did not have the stomach to also go to war with the Republicans.” Too bad, because they sure went to war with him! As the events of the last week revealed, we do not need a Third Party, we need a Second Party. Perhaps DJT can be a catalyst for that.

Now that he has had a couple years to reflect on it, what is the evidence he learned anything from the failures of his administration? I would argue “Not much,” as he remains drawn to people who flatter him, or as he says repeatedly, “People who are nice to me.” The country would be much better served if his instincts were coupled with a dose of maturity. I’m not holding my breath. He is better than ANY communist, but not better than every GOPer. If he is the nominee I will gladly vote for him in hopes he will be the POTUS of his first three years, not the timid fool of the last year when he was terrified of grifters Fauci and Birx.

I can agree with everything you said except issues of dealing with Fauci & Birx. Make note that suring yearf 2022, covid-19 was a new virus, and for whatever reason, Americans were getting infected very fast and dying in big numbers. No one really knew much about covid-19 including Fauci & Birx. Trump is not a medical doctor, and was in no position to overrule opinions of qualified doctors.

Very fortunate, covid-19 original version has new variants which are much less lethal. I tested positive for covid 10 days ago using the in-home-test-kit, had symptoms which lasted all of 2 days, and recovered within a week. It was not much different symptoms than the ordinary flu. I am just glad I did not get infected with the original version. I have seen enough video’s of hospitalized covid patients.
