I have a friend who was very healthy before getting COVID. He had the vax and has since had COVID several times, but now I wonder if he simply has had COVID one time and never gotten over it. Has anyone else seen anything like this? I mean for 18 months he has been really really sick and testing positive for the virus every time he has done a test. He was fairly athletic, now he struggles to walk up stairs and he has been this way ever since the illness began.

Other than elderly or people with immune issues, I don’t know if anyone who recovered from the first round of Covid (and had a truly symptomatic case, with loss of smell and the like that was confirmed by test) and who then DID NOT get the shot who have ever had another symptomatic case of Covid.

Myself, included. I’ve been directly exposed so many times after I recovered from Covid 1.0, including flying in a small plane or car (and even sharing an O2 mask) and never so much as had a sniffle. I may have gotten it, but didn’t notice.

Now, I know plenty of people who have had the shot and been repeatedly infected, including those who had Covid first.
