Repeat COVID infections can be dangerous, even deadly, even for those who have been vaccinated and boosted according to a brand-new study.
The study by the Washington University School of Medicine and the Veterans Affairs St. Louis Health Care system found that "repeat SARS-CoV-2 infections contribute significant additional risk of adverse health conditions in multiple organ systems."
The findings, published Thursday, Nov. 10 in Nature Medicine, reported that such outcomes include:
Reinfection also contributes to diabetes, kidney disease, and mental health issues even among those who have been vaccinated and boosted, the study said.
“This means that even if you’ve had two COVID-19 infections, it’s better to avoid a third,” said senior author Ziyad Al-Aly, MD, the director of the Clinical Epidemiology Center, and the Chief of Research and Education Service at Veterans Affairs St. Louis Health Care System. “And if you’ve had three infections, it’s best to avoid the fourth.”
Al-Aly said that during the past few months, "there’s been an air of invincibility among people who have had COVID-19 or their vaccinations and boosters, and especially among people who have had an infection and also received vaccines.
"Some people started to refer to these individuals as having a sort of super immunity to the virus."
The risk seemingly increases with each new infection, the study said.
“Without ambiguity," Al-Aly said, "our research showed that getting an infection a second, third or fourth time contributes to additional health risks in the acute phase, meaning the first 30 days after infection, and in the months beyond, meaning the long COVID phase.”

For me - i.e., given my state of health, etc. - contracting Corona would not be an automatic death sentence. In fact, the probability of my dying from it would be in the range of not even a tenth of a percent. Thus, no COVID vaccination or other treatment could even in theory have a 50% chance of saving my life. It's simply mathematically / logically impossible.
THAT is why I refuse to answer your question: Because it stands in no relation to reality / is demonstrably nonsensical.
Now, a more-valid scenario: If I with 100% certainty were going to contract a disease - say some especially pernicious form of cancer - and if there were a, say, 85% chance that I would die from it, and if there were a prophylactic treatment that would reduce that to "only" 60%, and if there were no other, alternate therapies or treatments promising comparable results, then yes: I would not hesitate to undergo said treatment.
1) Corona is not 100% fatal. (In my case, it's about 0.1% fatal.)
2) The COVID vaxxes do not fulfill those criteria.
Did you refuse, for yourself or your children, the polio vaccine because of those phenomenally good odds?
Again: NOT COMPARABLE!
If I had already contracted and survived, unscathed, polio, then I would not see any reason to be inoculated against it. Indeed, I did come down with COVID in Nov. of 2022, and thus possess a natural immunity far greater than any existent vaccine provides.
(Side note: One of my older brothers (born 1951) was vaccinated against polio, and then promptly contracted it. He suffered an injury as a child as a result of that, and he now suffers Post-Polio Syndrome.)

How do you intend to maintain your natural immunity which wanes with time? Another infection? Did you read what the article said about the effects of multiple infections?
studies show that rpeated exposure to jab pushing propagandamakes for a great non-gentle laxative.
ooo...gotta run...
I suspect this is more of a case of “repeated Covid vaccinations” can cause a myriad of side effects, and even death.
Since my first noticeable and verified outbreak in Nov. of 2020, I have undoubtedly been re-exposed multiple times - and may have very well even "come down" with Corona again. But the subsequent cases were apparently so mild - or progressively milder - that I hardly noticed (sniffles for a few days).
Did you read what the article said about the effects of multiple infections?
The article didn't bother differentiating between natural immunity and the partial, artificial, and (over time) declining quasi-immunity provided by the Vaxx. Besides that, the plethora of "could be's" and "might happens" invalidated / delegitimized anything it said.
Regards,
It’s just another mask and vax-pusher.
The more intelligent among us learned long ago to ignore or disdain those braying jackasses.
If you want to keep getting Fauci Juice injected into you and go around with a diaper on your face, have at it.
Just don’t expect the rest of us to go along with that cr@p.

If you’re just looking for an excuse to ignore the consequences of multiple infections, that’s as good as any.

If you want to run the risk of multiple infections, then be my guest.
BTW, you’ll not find a single post where I’ve supported masking, lockdowns, or social distancing. Nor, am I pushing the vaccines. I am pushing for honest debate and credible information about the vaccines.
I’m doing just fine, thanks, with my pure blood and my free-breathing face.
Those fear tactics don’t work on me. Only the most sheepy of the sheep fall for that anymore.

“Pureblood”? I guess that sounds better in the original German.
Project much? 😆
Typical leftist. No sense of humor and sees everything in black and white.
It’s so bizarre how you people get so angry and nasty about a person you’ll never know or meet not getting a stupid shot and not wearing a piece of dirty laundry (which is what those things become after about 20 minutes) strapped over my breathing holes.
Entertaining, though.
I tell you that I've already undergone multiple infections (one mild case with cold-like symptoms 2 years ago, and then subsequent cases of "The Sniffles"), and it was no big deal for me.
So why should I suddenly start getting all concerned and overwrought about this thing?
Other people are welcome to run around headless, for all I care.
Al-Azy's blanket warnings, admonitions, and exhortations are bad advice and irrelevant to me!
