Nov. 10 (UPI) -- An Iowa woman who was verified as the oldest living person in the United States earlier this year celebrated her 115th birthday.
Bessie Hendricks celebrated her 115th birthday with a party at Shady Oaks Care Center, where she lives in Lake City.
The party was attended by all three of Hendricks' surviving children, including daughter Joan Schaffer, who celebrated her 90th birthday the previous day.
"I don't know how you put it into words," Schaffer told KCCI-TV. "It's marvelous that we still have her."
Hendricks' own mother died when she was 13, leaving her to take care of her siblings.
"She's always caring about her family," her son, Leon Hendricks, said. "She always did that. Family came first to mom. Always."
Hendricks became the oldest woman in the United States earlier this year, after the death of Thelma Sutcliffe at the age of 115 years and 108 days old. The Gerontology Research Group currently lists her as the fourth oldest person in the world.
I think most people live to regret that. I know I do. By the time me and my cousins started to get interested in family history, a lot of the old folks that knew the stories were gone. The ones that were left either couldn't remember or didn't want to talk about it. A lot of my family records are in Spanish because they are in the California mission archives. Almost none of my generation is fluent in Spanish so we're kind of stymied there. We can only go so far back. If the old folks in your family are still around, don't pass up your chance to talk to them. You might not be interested now, but you will be later and so will your descendants.

See, now what was I saying only yesterday:
... Jewish Mothers Day, with the tradition that the Flood was held off on account of the death of Methuse-lah, winner of the longest lifespan in the Bible. Everybody knows what happens right after people get those awards!>>>

Great Flood Begins
That's a charming video and it fits right into the above theme, because the tradition goes that the flood was supposed to be the flood of Messianic Light on the 11th.
I learned from the video that Bessie's favorite song is "You are my Sunshine."
I haven't posted this vid in a while but what perfect timing:
โช Jo Ann Castle Plays "You Are My Sunshine" โซ
Speaking of ragtime piano and going for the gold, did you know that El Dorado was released in the USA on June 7, 1967?
Don't shoot the piano player because he was literally Joe King!
Here's the scene, for all you history buffs:
Robert Mitchum - Eldorado - Let Me Hear You Laugh! John Wayne
My Daddy once told me what a man ought to bethe longest lifespan in the Bible:
There's much more to life than the things we can see
And the Godliest mortal you ever will know
Is the one with the dream of El Dorado
"Oldest person in the United States turns 115 in Iowa"
Which reminds me...
America [ืืืจืืงื] rearranges to the fullest spelling of Ha-Mikra -- the spelling with the Pintele Yid [ืืืืงืจื] -- aka the Jewish Bible, the Tanakh.
That "vain/empty mother" [ืื ืจืืงื] reading is just a thin disguise to send the Dark Side looking elsewhere for the light. It doesn't take much to prevail over those who can't be bothered to look past superficial appearances.
Family came first to mom. Always.
And the Godliest mortal you ever will know
Is the one with the dream of El Dorado
It’s very dangerous being the oldest person in the United States. Nobody seems to live very long in that situation.
It’s a short-lived title..................๐คฆโโ๏ธ

Yes. Near me, in Jacksonville, TX some years back. They announced a lady there as the oldest. It wasn’t long after that, they announced the funeral notification!
I posted this in 2016:
“OH-12 has 170 voters who are OLDER than 116 years old.
124 of them were born in the year 1800, and according to public records 72 of them VOTED in the 2016 Election”
Maybe she’s just frozen and nobody noticed yet. It’s too dang cold here.
and who has the advantage of SUNSHINE
I looked up SUNSHINE : sunshine value in Gematria is 482 (gematrix.org)
And the second result happens to be "Rigged and Stolen"
ย You told me once dear, you really loved me
And no one else dear, could come between
But now you've left me and love another
You have shattered all my dreamsย
King David really knew how to spy out and secure the best musical talent for his dream building project.
Trump for some inexplicable reason capitalized the word SUNSHINE:>>>
Florida is the Sunshine State and Florida Man has the worst reputation of anyone outside of DC, so there's that. ๐
I looked up SUNSHINE : sunshine value in Gematria is 482 (gematrix.org)
That "gematria" site sure has some odd systems though. I stick with the regular number associations and the letters- as-numbers (Hebrew, Greek, even Roman Numerals when applicable).
That said, I'm going to repost *what you wrote* because even though that system is strange (I avoid those types because they get away from the simplicity of the original concept, encouraging a trust in what their Magic 8 Balls spit back), the number is what it is and it's rather important, especially in the subject of SUNSHINE:
***I looked up SUNSHINE : sunshine value in Gematria is 482 (gematrix.org)***
It's all very simple but I don't want to spoil the big surprise.
Keflavik, now there's a place running a bit short of sunshine these days. Well on the bright side the folks there can watch and enjoy the lingering purple dawn... and then it's... time for lunch!
Nothing could be more important: "The light is pleasant, and it is good for the eyes to see the sun".
Never had much confidence it that majic eight ball system either and its probably correct the same way a broken clock is correct two times a day.ย
It's all very simple but I don't want to spoil the big surprise.ย
I'll be watching.

Well said. Massive melatonin and thick curtains in the summer and in the winter, darkness and a cold howling wind.
The light is pleasant...
To tie back in Gen 1:4 (= 1776),
one example:
The American People [ืืขื ืืืืจืืงืื] = 482
darkness and a cold howling wind
Yeah but with those delightful dancing and singing auroras. ๐
Ah, now this all reminds me of the weird tradition that Esther had a green complexion (I'm just noting what's out there), and that aurora means dawn, another name for Esther ("Doe of the Dawn" as per Psalm 22 for reference, the Ayelet haShachar.)
My abstract FR "ramblings" can really irk people, but my off-the-beaten-track adventures always pay off. Makes up for their isolated locations, but still...
I can't help but appreciate the beauty in the mental imagery of Esther and her girls -- diaphanous, undulating auroras, whispering palace secrets into the icy winds.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was goodย = 1776
God may have had a quick thought in His mind of the year 1776 AD when he spoke, "Let there be light".ย His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are much higher.
The American People [ืืขื ืืืืจืืงืื] = 482 The American people are His SUNSHINE.
Can this nation, which fell so far short of itsย true identityย and itsย founders' intention, ever, ever heal?
The answer to that must be yes. With God all things are possible. But His people must repent and seek His face and pray. Even Jesus learned obedience โfrom what He suffered.โย
aurora means dawn, another name for Esther ("Doe of the Dawn" as per Psalm 22 for reference, the Ayelet haShachar.)
There is strong agreement that Esther's skin was a green olive color.ย He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places. Jesus sits far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.ย
Yeah but with those delightful dancing and singing auroras. ๐
You sound like someone that has been to Iceland.

The first two photographs are important, kind of like, "If it weren't in the Megillah, who would ever believe it?"

It was a different world back then. People were taught Biblical truth. Evil hadn't infiltrated every nook and cranny. The spirit of Jezebel was just getting warmed up.
The first two photographs are important, kind of like, "If it weren't in the Megillah, who would ever believe it?"
And God made the two great lightsโthe greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the nightโand the stars.
On the fourth day as a rebuke to the Mesopotamia cultures that later would worship the sun, moon and stars.
โWhen Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, โI am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.โโ
