What's Freepers opinion on blaming Trump for the midterm elections?

With Conservatives point finger at Trump after GOP’s underwhelming election results: 'He's never been weaker'
Many conservatives say Tuesday's election results show it's 'time to move on' from Trump. (Fox News'', November 9, 2022), as well as the Wall Street Journal - what do Freepers think?

And yet, the GOP doesn’t do a thing about all this fraud.

Which means it either isn’t fraud, or the GOP wants it this way.

My thoughts were you put a crap milque toast candidate who did not relate in a state where their sports fans throw batteries on the ice for fun.

I am surprised Oz didn’t loose by more.

In the 2023, the republican party will be the majority in the House & Senate. No one did more to help republicans win in 2022 than Donald Trump - IMHO!

Trump is a difficult man. And it is certainly possible that a more calming, and perhaps as dedicated a warrior is somewhere. But DeSantis and others in the mix are not yet proven to be "bad and nationwide". I'm not ready to throw Trump over...He fights...The effect of his four endorsements in the New York US Rep. elections didn't hurt.

I make it a rule to look twice before crossing over political lines. I think DeSantis has great possibilities, but I wanna rate his his "coast to coast" magnetic attraction a bit more.

It is not President Trump’s fault. It is the fault of every useful idiot democrat party voter.

Put the blame squarely on those who deserve it.

Millions of women are eager to murder babies and prove it by voting for candidates who will let them do so.

I wasn’t surprised at all. There was an entire women’s mini-movement over the abortion issue. Women were dragging their barely 18-year-old daughters to the polls to vote for the Democrats and thus for abortion.

It’s even the whole reason there was a weaker Republican vote, although I’m sure the vast majority were Dems.

And the Trump issue was not that important, except for those who always want to move on to the Next Thing merely on whim, which is a different kind of sickness.

I didn’t want Trump to endorse Oz, but I thought he did well campaigning for the seat.

It is not Trumps fault.

It is our fault for allowing our servants to become our masters.

It’s a good thing we have all those weapons to keep us safe, as the revolution happened and we lost without firing a shot.

The USA is over, done kaput. It is not Trumps fault, he tried his best and it wasn’t enough. Only Christ himself can save us now and probably always was this way.

Next stop, a King/Dictator to rule us all.

I get that take from talking with independent voters.

Your one seat is not the country. When Fetterman, a man who has a piece of bread for a brain, wins against a 75% Republican who is a doctor, voters are not voting for qualifications. They are voting for what the party will offer them. Democrats offer socialism and that’s what they are voting for.

Trump is not to be blamed for any loses or contrary outcomes. He is a fighter deep into the fog of the war. God bless him and his family.

Well, here in AZ, there were six statewide elections.
Trump endorsed four Republicans.
Right now the two NOT endorsed by Trump are cruising to victory.
Out of the four reminding, all are behind now.
I believe two (Lake and Hamadeh may make it, hopefully).
The other two, their chances are very low.
So I would conclude that Trump support is good for primaries but bad for general election.

All Trump endorsed candidates won in multi-person primaries carrying 30+% of the vote. Frankly I was wondering what criteria Trump selected for his endorsements as I liked only Lake!
But Trump has his followers who would vote for cheese sandwich, if Trump has endorsed it.
That’s about third of the Republican primary voters.
But really maybe 10-20% of the electorate.
