I currently have no idea where either of these apparent rivals for the nomination stand. Do either have a specific position on the issue today?
My position is this was not our war. Our dollars are being wasted.
Perfect way to complete the us bankruptcy and leave us weakened for all us enemies.

I don’t know about Trump, but I am 100% certain that DeSantis — as an establishment GOP tool — is going to do whatever Boeing, Raytheon, Halliburton, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce tell him to do.
IF they said anything it would be spun by the current administration as foreign interference.
DeSantis is actually more conservative than Trump by a mile. Look what DeSantis was able to do in Florida. Trump with the entire Congress couldn’t get crap done. Heck he promised a border wall. DeSantis said Beckwith it and sent illegals out of state. Accomplishments! Trump got a tax bill but put a sunset on middle-class taxes in 2026. Complete disaster.
DeSantis doesn’t seem interested in talking national politics, and that worries me. I’m convinced that Trump is capable of preventing WW3 as he’s the only major politician even demanding peace talks, but as always with Trump, it depends on whether he can clean house if he does win.
PDJT has been pushing for negotiations. Not happy with the war!
I would also suggest they would take positions when they are official candidates.
DeSantis not running in 2024. He’s already said he’ll complete the 4 year term as governor of Florida.
Let Trump have 2024 so he can settle some scores and take the blame for hatcheting the swamp workers. DeSantis can then come in and give a more conciliatory tone while still effectively tightening the screws on the left.
When Trump was in office, the legislature — even when it was controlled by Republicans — worked to undermine him for his entire term in office.
You can’t even compare the two.
Trump was sending weapons to Ukraine and wanted them to get fighter jets “and more”.
We know Trump is sick of Putin’s constant nuke threats and wants to threaten him with our nuclear submarines to get him to shut-up about threatening us with nuclear weapons.

All of these vapid politicians are influenced to a certain degree by the war mongering globalists. Most when in power make these deadly commitments to send young Americans into these lethal foreign entanglements without any real understanding of what or why they are doing it. They do know that the globalists and their sycophants in the MSM praise them and they receive huge cash donations.

We may start to get an idea of where these people may stand after the midterms. That will be the kick off to 2024 and that outcome could determine a lot.
You know what you’ve got with Trump. A great guy who has proven to a real sap in dealing with the DC GOP and that rat fink, Kushner, would probably coattail his way back in. I also know that every GOP former governor at least as far back as Coolidge has been a total bust as president. The also rans (Rockefeller, Bush III, Walker, Christie, etc.) as well. You can not include Reagan. Reagan did not come up through corrupt state politics. Reagan was the Trump of the 60s. Reagan MAGA’d California when it was very uncool. Not your standard GOP governor, more Trumpian than anything. During the Trump administration it was a totally different situation. We weren’t spending $500Million a day with US troops on the ground operating systems that have been killing thousands of Russians. What is the position TODAY?
