Ponder this: hundreds or thousands may have to freeze to death in order to help slow global warming. Huh?! Could there be a sadder and more preposterous statement than that?
The BBC, a publicly-funded broadcaster implicitly entrusted with disseminating vital messages to the U.K. citizenry during times of national crisis, has allegedly already begun preparing emergency broadcasts designed to reassure the people of Britain should extensive winter blackouts be necessary in the coming months. These potential blackouts would inevitably cause disruptions to the Commonwealth’s banking systems, internet access, mobile phone networks, and traffic lights, among other things. And would, of course, cause significant hardship—or worse—for much of the populace.
Already, various media outlets are speculating about how many Europeans will freeze to death this coming winter. And how tragically ironic that this will, in large part, be because of a misguided attempt to stave off global warming?!
Eschewing fossil fuels and going green may lead to frostbite induced gangrene. Or death. But, to hell with oil and coal, to hell with fracking, say no to nuclear. Moreover, some elites say that the dearth of natural gas from Russia is a great opportunity to jumpstart the switch to renewable energy such as wind and solar power. (And butterfly farts, apparently. Or do those put more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere? I forget.)
And the United States will follow suit, sooner rather than later, unless Democrats are soundly routed in the 2022 and 2024 elections. If that doesn’t happen, and the country “goes green,” the U.S. will have come full circle, from its rag-tag militia freezing at Valley Forge despite (General) Washington’s best efforts, to regular citizens freezing because of Washington (DC)’s policies nearly 250 years later.

It is the new religion of the left and they will let people die before they admit that they are wrong.
Almost the last day of November...central Germany, and I’m experiencing a 72-degree F temperature today...sunny and no clouds. Folks in shorts and flip flops this afternoon.
Most people remark it’s been the warmest November in thirty years. My heating system? It might have cranked up one or two evenings but I’ve used almost no natural gas for the month.
Just have to burn wood
Not freezing to death in northern Alberta, but there are other problems.
Western Europe is going to have a hell of a time I’m thinking.
They don’t even admit they were wrong when millions die, they pivot.
When 10 million deaths by Hitler became undeniable because of Eisenhower, suddenly Hitler became right-wing and was only a socialist in name.
So Germany is a month ahead of the rest of the world?
Did you mean October?
Yep. Because those who are responsible for this won't ever run out of heat (in the winter) or A/C (in the summer). And they won't be eating any bugs...
My family has been on these shores for almost 400 years.
Only one family member froze to death.
And he wasn’t at home when he died.
Or add a few layers of clothing.
Almost the last day of November in Germany?? Ya’ll are in one of those Twilight Zone episodes.
I have 8 cord of seasoned maple and birch , split and ranked. No way we here will freeze this winter.
NOR will we freeze in any winter, with a 50 acre wood lot.
Maybe the cities will empty themselves, just Demoncrap ant hills where people eat each other.
That’s the ticket.
We need to save the planet and humanity even if it means killing people off.
The forecast for this upcoming week here in NH is in the mid 60’s
Our furnace has come on only a couple times.
It looks like the change is coming just about election day though.
Rumor has it it’s going to be a tough Nov, Dec, and Jan.
In the meantime, enjoy.
Maybe this will trigger a mass migration? No one freezes to death in southern Spain or north Africa.
“Most people remark it’s been the warmest November in thirty years.”
Maybe so, but there are three more hard months of winter on the horizon. The cold is on its way.
That’s impressive.
Great time machine you got there...
