Peligro, whose real name is Darren Henley, died from head trauma sustained during an accidental fall, a Twitter post from the band said. The cause of the fatal impact was not released.
Henley joined the legendary punk rock group in 1981 and made his recorded debut with the band on the record, “In God We Trust, Inc.”
Following Dead Kennedys’ break up in 1986, Henley briefly joined Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1988. He was responsible for introducing Anthony Kiedis and Flea to a young John Frusciante, who later became the group’s guitarist, according to Pitchfork.

Headline should have been, “Dead Kennedy dead.”
“Fell at his home”?
I’m much older, and I never fell at my home before.
I’m much older, and I never fell at my home before.

I bet you a blood clot and heart attack from the vax would cause someone to fall down.....
Oh I have fallen in my home before, It did involve vodka so self induced, my first night in the new appartment, my head bounced off of every solid object in the bathroom, had a black eye that took a month to heal, I was a human plinko chip from the price is right. I bought nite lites the next day, the place is so dark.
My mom died from a fall (mid 70s, she may have had Parkinson’s) but she had been deteriorating for about a year. Fell while out shopping and hit her head hard which caused an aneurysm. (Docs weren’t sure if the fall caused the aneurysm or the aneurysm caused the fall)
Had a similar issue with my godmother in her apartment (but she was in her 90s)
Probably something similar here... or drinking... my money is on drinking tho
By all accounts he was an outstanding drummer loved by nearly all he worked with, once hurling himself over his drum kit 20 feet into the audience to body surf in celebration. In his early years was a Red Hot Chili Pepper. No, he didn’t drum for Spinal Tap.
That was a flat-out miracle to survive that without lasting injury after such foolishness. We must count our blessings and never dwell on the negative.
He got messed up on heroin for a long time.
I don’t think he ever got clean.
Sad. Poor Darren.
I left a glass of water on a book shelf last night later getting ready for bed i heard a noise the Cat had knocked it over I forgot that there had been water in it and hustled out to grab it not realizing the tiled floor was wet. I went down fortunately my big butt saved me, pretty sore today but nothing broken. Lucky I didn’t break a hip or crack my head. 2nd fall this year I really need to watch out. Getting old sucks.
So he might have survived years of drug abuse only to be felled by a CoupFlu shot.
Boy, if that’s the case...
Maybe he watched the movie, “Falling Down”!
I bet he saw that commercial in which the elderly gentleman says, “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!”
RIP Darren. You put on one hell of a show.

Lee Ving is like a personal hero of mine.
I saw them once back in their heyday. Leftist political band who didn’t leave much of an impression on me. Apart from their provocative name they would draw blanks from most I would guess.
