This just in: We have our first Woke corporation that can’t stand the idea of Americans having free speech on Twitter.
GM has temporarily suspended ads on Twitter after the Elon Musk takeover, as reported by CNBC.
So it begins.
Agreed. See my post 100 on this thread.
Why not just buy another one...they’re like 70 bucks.
I really posted it for everyone.
i just want to encourage all Freepers to take note of every corporation that threatens Twitter and Elon Musk and cancel accounts where appropriate. Talk about freedom of speech and trying to kill it.
Artery in the trunk away from all the under hood heat is the key.
My wife’s 2014 Camaro has the battery in the trunk.
Six months ago I thought her battery was going bad so I replaced it only to find out my problem was the alternator.
My exwife had a 2008 GM Suv with the battery in the floor under the middle row’s foot area behind the front passenger seat. We bought it used in 2014 and when she sold it last year, it still had the factory battery.
Hey Elon, sispend all GM etc twitter acounts.

I really like by 2015 Suburban for trips and towing my boat. BUT that “truck” and my 2011 Tahoe have both had the same damn issues.
First: the v-8 has this stupid variable cylinder system, supposedly for gas mileage. It goes from 8 to 6 to 4 cylinders and back depending on (I think) momentary torque requirements.
On both vehicles, whatever freaking solenoids control that just died and left me with super low power. The suburban was still under warranty. The Tahoe was not and the bill was so high, I traded it in for the slightly used Suburban.
The issue is so well known that companies make these things that plug into the computer system that keep it in V8 mode permanently. I haven’t seen a darn bit of difference in terms of MPG after installing it.
Second: the transmissions, torque converter, or both are straight trash. Both had issues while I still had a relatively light boat. I am a careful driver normally and especially while towing. It doesn’t matter. Trash.
Moral of the story for me: who cares. I have been fooled twice already. Next truck is not going to be a GM
It is Government Motors after all.
“They’ve had a lot of problems with the new style Corvette. Corvettes have their own plant, at least they did, not sure now.”
You obviously do not know enough to make such comments so, why did you? Do you always comment on subjects you know nothing about?
No. They used government funds from a different account to "pay off" that loan while that different account was either forgiven or not meant to be paid back.
But why would they say anything? Quietly pull the ads and place them somewhere else. Now, they’ve gone political. Foolish mistake.
“Those appear to be a heckuva car for the money.”
Used 2020’s are selling for $20k over original MSRP. People in queue for the 2023 Z06 are asking $50k for their place in line.
well.. bye.
Do you have a point or do your fingers just magically pound keys for no reason at all?
Wow. First I read some idiot FReeper responding to a woman doing porn acts on a church altar with, “well, in other cultures naked breasts are considered normal,” and now this? No, GM paying money to Twitter doesn’t make Tesla stronger, even if the same guy controls them. Government Motors survives on the flesh of the government.
That should be reposted each and every day. Some good stuff, there.
