Participants who were fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated and unvaccinated reported four of the same main symptoms: A sore throat, runny nose, persistent cough and a headache.
Many of the symptoms of any viral infection can be similar, making it tough to tell the difference between Covid-19, influenza or a common cold without getting tested. One of the big differences is shortness of breath and the loss of smell and taste for Covid, which are not likely experiences for the flu or colds.
Common cold symptoms include a mild cough, a stuffy nose, sneezing, a sore throat, aches, and a short fever period. Chills and shortness of breath are not symptoms, and nausea, headaches and loss of taste/smell are rare.
Flu symptoms include a dry cough, fever, aches, headache and fatigue or weakness; sometimes symptoms can include a stuffy nose, sore throat, nausea and chills. Sneezing is not a symptom, and shortness of breath and loss of taste/smell are rare.
Covid symptoms include a dry cough, stuffy nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, fever, aches, nausea, chills, headaches, loss of taste/smell and fatigue/weakness. Chest tightness also occurs sometimes and sneezing is rare.
People with the flu can feel symptoms within 1-4 days, whereas Covid patients can experience them up to 14 days after infection; both can present as asymptomatic.

“Evidence for a connection between coronavirus disease-19 and exposure to radiofrequency radiation from wireless communications including 5G”
“Background and Aim:
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) public health policy has focused on the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) virus and its effects on human health while environmental factors have been largely ignored. In considering the epidemiological triad (agent-host-environment) applicable to all disease, we investigated a possible environmental factor in the COVID-19 pandemic: ambient radiofrequency radiation from wireless communication systems including microwaves and millimeter waves. SARS-CoV-2, the virus that caused the COVID-19 pandemic, surfaced in Wuhan, China shortly after the implementation of city-wide (fifth generation [5G] of wireless communications radiation [WCR]), and rapidly spread globally, initially demonstrating a statistical correlation to international communities with recently established 5G networks. In this study, we examined the peer-reviewed scientific literature on the detrimental bioeffects of WCR and identified several mechanisms by which WCR may have contributed to the COVID-19 pandemic as a toxic environmental cofactor. By crossing boundaries between the disciplines of biophysics and pathophysiology, we present evidence...”
My son got it in early May, and he isolated in extreme fashion so his wife and son wouldn’t get it. They had planned a trip to France for a few weeks later, and she didn’t want that trip to be impacted if he gave it to her.
That worked out great until she went for a manicure and a pedicure 3 days before their trip. Guess what? She got sick almost as soon as they landed in Paris. She was sick in bed for almost their whole trip. She had 2 days there to cram in her sightseeing. Good thing our son was able to go out and get her some cough medicine and food. Helluva way to spend that kind of moolah, not to mention your time, in a freaking hotel room.
Oh, and then our grandson got it when they returned home.
I think they are both less worried about it now.
THEN WHY THE HELL TAKE THE TEST?! It's a COLD! People are SO stupid!
Don't start with the "control our brains with 5G" stuff. Look, I'm a radio-frequency engineer. I'm partly responsible for the 5G modems in my company's products. There are NO connections between COVID-19 and cell phone signals. Good grief.
Actually many times the adults are already immune. My parents rarely got any disease I had, and that’s with intimate care.
But yes, not shocking that more common annual diseases might spread amongst the household.
Your post is a great reminder of the actual virus name.
SARS-CoV-2
severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2
Guess what?
It’s not severe anymore.
It’s not acute anymore.
It’s barely respiratory.
It’s now a very contagious coronavirus like all the other ones before it. It’s a darn cold, people.
Get over your fear!
That paper was published by the NIH in 2021. I have no idea how any of this may or may not be connected and neither do you.
When I got it on Good Friday, I checked because of a sore throat and didn’t want to go to church if I had it.
Well it is an NIH paper.
It seems to hypothesize if the waves contribute to infection and spread.
Not a direct conspiracy that it creates it or was done deliberately.
But yes, I generally poo-Poo such ideas. Esp when they come from ideologues. Which of course we have plenty here.
Is is possible you may be a bit biased in your assertion?
“5G Wireless Technology: Is 5G Harmful to Our Health?”
“...Grigoriev refers to studies showing harmful effects of 5G millimetre waves (MMWs). They include:
demyelination of nerve cells
changes to cell membranes, including changes to ion channels
inhibition of cell cycle progression
changes to levels of enzyme and proteins in the brain's hippocampus
double-strand breaks in DNA
effects on reproduction
changes to the sensitivity of the skin
effects on peripheral and central nervous systems
effects on the hypothalamus and pituitary glands and changes to cortisol and testosterone hormones
changes to heart rate
changes to immune function
degranulation of mast cells in the skin (that can cause allergic-type symptoms).
Grigoriev says that individuals react differently to exposure, and this can make it difficult for observers to draw conclusions and can lead to errors in assessing the impacts of radiation...”

I should’ve mentioned my post 26 wasn’t to you, per se, just a response to that part which I quoted.
Totally unrelated to this conversation, just thought you might be amused to see the technology in modems back in 1988. The gentleman from the Zurich lab came to me in the NY lab to make his video for my magazine. A fuzzy memory says he got a Nobel prize for his modem work.

Unable to resist temptation, I turned his visualization of line noise into a music video.
That was a good post. :)
I got covid two months ago. they symptoms were a cough, congestion and phlem. I thought it was a cold.
After a week I tested negative for covid.
However, I still have a little congestion. Also testing showed that my vitamin d level was cut in half from an optimized 70 ml/dl to normal 35 ml/dl.
As well testing showed that my hemoglobin levels were low.
So i doubled my vitamin d intake and began to take exta iron. I’ll test both again in a couple months
In time there will come a study concluding that since the vaccines offer partial (but not complete) protection against catching the coronapanic, they serve as a stressor and those stresses cause the virus strains they don’t eradicate to mutate.
In other words, the vaccinated are driving the mutations.
I have year round seasonal allergies, when one allergy ends, another one picks up. So congestion and sneezing, itching, is common for me. I actually thought my CoVid was allergies because I’m severely allergic to cottonwood and it was in full bloom when my case happened. Truthfully, I think they overlapped.
I hope your congestion improves. Have you ever had an allergy test? You might be surprised to find out there’s something out there that could be causing your symptoms other than SARS-CoV-2.
A month ago, September 19 I started coughing and had the same symptoms you had. I had Covid in May with similar problems and I never lost sense of smell or taste.
On October 5, I had blood work done and the Doctor said to me “you have had Covid, for sure because your covid antibodies were sky high!” I asked, “how high?” He said “the number was 435 and to give you an idea, the scale starts at 2.”
Mean while, I have had two vaccinations and one booster.
It did not prevent my contracting the disease.
Its been about four years since my last allergy test. That came up negative. What I have now is a little more phlegm than I had before
My family had it in 2020. Wife and younger son were hospitalized. She almost died. My older son and I were infected but had no symptoms.
Just so I’d know whether my older son and I really had the COVID, I had us tested for antibodies a year later. We were chock full of good antibodies.
Well, I wish you all the best. I’m allergic to about 20 different things, almost all are environmental, but a few foods. I never knew why I was sick at Christmas time every year growing up. A lot of trees have mold that grows on them, and I was allergic to that. So while I love a fresh-cut Christmas tree, I use an artificial one now.
I have a nephew that won’t eat dairy, not because he’s lactose intolerant, but because he says it makes him congested. Maybe that’s true, maybe it’s not. I know I’ll never give up cheese or ice cream without having an allergy to it. Too darn yummy.
