iPhone does a pretty good job of taking dictation, including punctuation. If you say "comma" or "period" or even "emdash", it does the right thing.
I’m a laptop for most everything. My dh has two computers in his office. One’s a touch screen, so’s my laptop.. and it drives me insane when I go to the hit the screen on his older computer lol.
I hate using my phone for anything other than texting or talking. Pandora when I’m walking. I don’t even like talking on it lol. Hurts my broken arm/hand to hold it. I know, I know.. bluetooth devices.
