I like the “don’t call it science” one.

Something like 70% of the science quoted in the media or written about even in professional journals is non-reproducable, make some heavy assumptions, has population size or causality issues.

Very little that attempts to use the “science” label is actually science.

When people hear “science” it invokes a feeling, but that’s all it’s become.

Everyone wants the “follow the science label” since that gives credibility in terms of objectivity, it gives it an empirical logical/reason argument.

However, there is a HUGE science crisis today that isn’t talked much about: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Replication_crisis

MOST of what is called “science” is not.

It’s just some survey or a simple inconclusive study that gets latched onto because it supports another fad: racism in law enforcement/justice, feminism, sexism, some homo cause, climate change, Covid, ozone hole, some animal being endangered and the cause being XYZ (DDT and Silent Spring).

Even where you should truly have hard empirical evidence driving the train (public health where you’re spending billions, compelling people to do things, impacting their livelihood or direct enfringement on rights...), you do not see this and Covid is the latest and a good example.
