Recently I went to Belize with my better half. On Ambergris Caye there is a store that sells the LV lookalike stuff. There were 3 women in the store buying thousands of dollars worth of items ansd boasting out loud how much they made on selling the stuff as legitimate in the US. No compunction in the least and bragging about it.

As a side story, a guy I know is a huge collector of signed sports memorabilia. He’s a retired jeweler, and has money to burn. So he buys lots of expensive stuff. All with the proper documentation.
I once asked him about fakes. He estimated that perhaps 25% of his collection was fake. He just didn’t know which 25%.
Who in the world pays $5K for a sweatshirt?
