Disneyland ticket prices continue their year-to-year increase as they rose by an average of 8 percent on Tuesday.
One-day tickets now range from $104 to $179, depending on the day, with the one-day $65 'Park Hopper' ticket add-on making the most expensive ticket $244.
The new price tag for tickets complements a falling Walt Disney Co. stock, which has fallen 46 percent in the last year.

I went to Disney World the first year it opened, $3.50 for Magic Kingdom. We took some girls there in or around 1978 it was $6.50.
College tuition in 1975-76 was $2,291 for a private school.
We were going to do DNL but changed our mind directly because of the ticket prices. Wanted to do 3 days for 6 of us, and that is a fortune. Will go on an Alaska cruise instead.
Yeah, it is only seasonal, but a day pass is less than $40 and you don't have to put up with line jumpers and urban ferals.
Kennywood, a little closer to the city, runs you about the same money and is only a bit more crowded.
Great…hopefully they will raise prices to $500/day and give everyone puberty blocker coupons…
Go Woke ….go broke
For $244 a day, I could have a great time at the slot machines in Vegas in air conditioned comfort with no screaming kids or annoying people dressed up like cartoon characters.
Both have outpaced inflation. Makes you want to take inflation seriously.
There raising prices because there are less people….I read some where a ticket should be about forty dollars if you went by the inflation prices…opened in 1980 it was three dollars…just the one park And Expo area..
I dunno, plenty of annoying people in Vegas.
I think it was $3.50, so $12.58 today. https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/
oops, it opened in 1970 I believe, so at $3.50 that would be $26.72
It’s almost as though the customer was being penalized and fined for having the temerity, the audacity to enter the Golden Fortress known as Disneyland.
“You DARE to enter through these iron GATES??”
FWIW and its only anecdotal, we are friends with a few families who had planned trips to Disney World in the next year with their families. Another planned a Disney Cruise.
All four of them have cancelled because money is becoming too tight for everyday living expenses. I do know of one family who just went on the Disney cruise so let’s call that 1/5 in volunbeer world.
If there is enough of this, Disney could be in bigger trouble as even those not turned off by the “woke” nonsense will not be able to afford to make the trip and higher prices don’t help.
A large amount of our “economy” in the US revolves around non-essential. This sector is always hit the hardest when people have less discretionary money. Disney is getting a double whammy - Christians disapprove of their politics and now they are raising prices in the middle of a deep recession (or worse) that will not end any time soon.
Couldn’t happen to a better institution........
Was there recently with grandchildren and watched literally hundreds of MWP (mostly white people) jump the line - at least 85% - 90% NON minority.
You’d think #WokeDisney would want their lines to display more equity.
It was overpriced at 100/person last time I was there.
Look how much money I’m saving!
Hope they enjoy the sounds of crickets and frogs with no people there.
I guess they want to go out of business.
“We may lose a little money on wokeness, but we’ll make it up with higher prices!” Pure marketing genius…
