Yeah, it is only seasonal, but a day pass is less than $40 and you don't have to put up with line jumpers and urban ferals.
Kennywood, a little closer to the city, runs you about the same money and is only a bit more crowded.

It’s a little bit more expensive in that you need full body armor to enjoy the day at Kennywood anymore ... all of that diversity in Duquesne helps to kill that park a little more each year :-) .
Damn shame since Steel Curtain and Phantom’s Revenge are two awesome, world-class rollercoasters (plus The Jack Rabbit (almost 100 years old now IIRC) and Thunderbolt are two outstanding classic coasters) ... also, if it made financial sense and the park could grow, they could make some awesome rides given the terrain out that way.
