Anne Heche’s oldest son has reportedly revealed what he believes is the value of the late actress’s estate.
According to Homer Laffooon, Heche allegedly died with approximately $400,000 to her name, per court documents obtained Tuesday by the Daily Mail. Laffoon reportedly said in his filing that his “best estimate on the value of all [Heche’s] personal property is $400,000.”
Laffoon, 20, also reportedly revealed that his mother lived in an apartment and did not own a home, alleging in the paperwork that she “did not have any interest in real property at the time of her death.”

If I were an actor or athlete, I would be investing all the income I can spare and work towards living on the invested income.

Millions must have gone up her nose or in her veins,

Is he saying a $400K estate is ‘flat busted broke’ by hollywood standards, so he’s passing the hat for donations?

There is another possibility....
She should have stayed with Ellen! 400k is pocket change for Ellen.
She was never a big name actress, who could command millions of dollars per part.
At best, during her best years, she was probably earning no more than a few million.
It looks like to me that her earnings in the last years were low by Hollywood standards and she still has to make her rent or mortgage in the Hollywood Hills.
Homer Laffoon? Poor kid, with a name like that.
This woman killed herself with drugs, alcohol and an unjustified belief in her own Hollywood royalty status.
There is no “deserve” or “didn’t deserve”. Indifference is closest.
And what about the woman whose home was severely damaged by this drunk? Actually do feel sorry for her.
400k isn’t exactly a lot of money in general......in California I doubt that would buy a 1200 square foot home.
Maybe Meghan Markle is on the same career track.
In many parts of California it wouldn’t buy a 350SF efficiency apartment.
Liked her in the Harrison Ford film where they’re plane-wrecked and being hunted by drug lords. Mostly because she didn’t wear a bra.
Other than that, she was obviously mixed up and screwed up - like most in hollyweird. I wish her and her family peace. She may have never done or said anything that made any sense to our friends here, but she also never robbed a freight train.
Please you are in your 20s and start making crazy money, you think you always will, its only the beginning, I can always make more... by the time you realize that isn’t the case, you’ve squandered most of it and the big cash flow had slowed way down.
