Instead of making an EV joke and ridiculing the current technology, I'll simply say that I don't find a single car in the post to be a good looking car. Maybe the Dodge. But it's still a Dodge.

Small EVs are fine for running around town IF you live in a single family home in an urban area and can afford to install your own charging station plus the additional cost of an EV over a comparable sized car with an internal combustion engine. If you want to save money, buy just about any small or midsized car with an internal combustion engine.
EV trucks are useless. You cannot tow anything further than 100 miles or so and they take over 12 hours to fully charge.

I’ll buy a horse before I’ll buy an EV, new or used.

No thanks. Too much range anxiety for me. I’ll take half a loaf with a hybrid and skip the range anxiety and spending half my life waiting to get charged.

Vehicle range is a “weeds” issue?
Nope. It’s central to the discussion.
As is charging time.
And a reasonable certainty that EVs will not overwhelm the grid so massively that the range becomes zero and the recharge becomes impossible.
How could these people be so obtuse?

With GM putting all their eggs in the EV basket, I think the taxpayers will be screwed over again when they file for Bankruptcy. Ford is only going for half EV, half ICE. GM is going 100% EVs...
So is Dodge...

Some cool stuff. I look forward to the industry working out the EV kinks over the next 20 years or so. Who knows? I might even buy one if I am still alive in 20 years.
I am not an early adopter and don’t enjoy being a guinnea pig. I will let others be the test beds for this stuff as regards range, recharge rate, infrastructure & etc.
