Broadway is giving our founding fathers gender re-assignment surgery.
The new Broadway revival of the classic musical 1776 features a cast comprised entirely of women, transgender, and “non-binary” actors. The woke staging, courtesy of the prestigious Roundabout Theatre Company and American Repertory Theater, officially opened Thursday at the American Airlines Theatre in New York, with a national tour expected to kick off next year.
1776 dramatizes the signing of the Declaration of Independence, following John Adams (played by actress Crystal Lucas-Perry) as he attempts to persuade members of the Continental Congress in Philadelphia to declare independence from Britain.
Among the transgender and “non-binary” cast members is a performer named Sav Souza in the role of founding father Dr. Josiah Bartlett, who represented New Hampshire in the Continental Congress. Souza recently declared on Instagram that transgender people existed back in 1776.
“Trans People Have Always Existed – they existed in 1776, and they absolutely exist ON BROADWAY!” the actor wrote alongside a photo displaying what appears to be her double mastectomy scars.

Perhaps they could assemble a cast comprised entirely of normal people?
While I believe Trans existed in 1776, I do not recall any Founding Fathers ever being characterized as such.

Another Freak show, I guess they all be black too. According to the liberal elite, all of the Founding Fathers were black.
So, the non-binary trans people who drafted the Declaration of Independence were white slave owners?
I also wonder who holds the rights to this material? You can't just put on a production of someone's material without paying out serious coin.

1776 is one of my favorite dvds. Even then they pushed the shame of slavery angle too hard although the Founders did find it a serious problem that would haunt people as the script said.
Another show: When two people on Merv Griffin’s old TV talk show suddenly told him on live TV there was going to be a remake of the Wizard of OZ but all black he hadn’t been prepared by his staff for it. He got half onto his feet and shouted “No. No. They can’t do that. Leave it alone. It’s a classic.”
Genuine emotion of outrage. Had to smooth it over in segment after the commercials.
They have always existed....well duh. The problem is....tell them to leave me alone. I do not want to be part of their world. Stay out of my bathroom....out of my life.
Will they also alter the plot to push gun control and the harms of climate change? And the benefits of eating insects, owning nothing, and being happy?
What a nasty way to ruin an enjoyable historical presentation
