Soldiers are leaving the Army National Guard at a faster rate than they are enlisting, fueling concerns that in the coming years units around the country may not meet military requirements for overseas and other deployments.
For individual states, which rely on their Guard members for a wide range of missions, it means some are falling short of their troop totals this year, while others may fare better. But the losses comes as many are facing an active hurricane season, fires in the West and continued demand for units overseas, including combat tours in Syria and training missions in Europe for nations worried about threats from Russia.
According to officials, the number of soldiers retiring or leaving the Guard each month in the past year has exceeded those coming in, for a total annual loss of about 7,500 service members. The problem is a combination of recruiting shortfalls and an increase in the number of soldiers who are opting not to reenlist when their tour is up.
The losses reflect a broader personnel predicament across the U.S. military, as all the armed services struggled this year to meet recruiting goals. And they underscore the need for sweeping reforms in how the military recruits and retains citizen soldiers and airmen who must juggle their regular full-time jobs with their military duties. …

Sending The Guard overseas has always been questionable for me.
Curious if any boys from the South are signing up now.
Here in New York, National Guard has become the Governor’s political slave-labor force.
Cuomo used them to staff nursing homes during Covid.
Hochul just announced the Guard will be sent to NY City to aid in “migrant relief.”
Only a fool would sign up for this sh**

They not buying into that Wokiesm BS nor the Pentagon and DoD’s persistence to enforce COVID BS.
Hence, recruitment down all across the service branches.
Hence, the reduced applications being submitted for the military academies.
And now this indicator.
The U.S. government is not going to recover from the illegal diktats for the Jim Jones Jab, even after Nuremberg II.
We are alienating the population we are trying to recruit. Unlikely for soy boys to sign up. I am sure a few of them do but not enough. We needed to downsize our military anyway except for the Navy to preserve the freedom of the seas.
Why sign up when you’d be forced to get jabbed. Forced to take training courses in woke-ism. In blue states, you’re used as props and dang near slave labor for Dim agendas.
Pathetic. I do not recommend any military service for anyone. And I am 3rd generation military.

My understanding is the the Pentagon and DoD have accepted they are going to be down roughly 100K in manpower for the coming year. *shrugs*
I am not sure of all this was intended or purposeful or otherwise. But the results and effects are speaking for themselves, all the while, we keep sabre rattling. Baffling.
The Guard will have to step in for the lack of the “regulars”.

It all works toward the plan to weaken and bring down the US.
It was Iraq that woke people up to the fact you could get your ass killed in the Guard.
Today, the Navy only exist to project power on weak countries. Peer and near-peer nations Can all blow one another’s navy out of the water.
Then if the citizens of a particular state didn't want their boys to die in a pointless war (e.g. Iraq, Afghanistan), then they could refuse to release them to the US military.
Unfortunately, state budgets are so bad that they need the Feds to finance the National Guard rather than states funding real militias.
We are no longer a Republic if the states are so financially beholden to the Feds.
Demonrats will be for forced conscription before long. They need the troops to maintain power.

But they aren’t leaving because of overseas deployments. They’re leaving because they can. Because they no longer want to be part of the system that is destroying this country.
Because they don’t want to be activated to remove a handful of Venezuelan illegals on Martha’s Vineyard.
Because they don’t want to be activated to deal with ANTIFA/BLM when they know that the reason for the aforementioned is Liberal Politicians sowing the seeds of violence and discontent to further their agenda.
Because they don’t want to sit outside the Capitol to protect politicians that could not give a EFF about them and let them live in parking garages, away from their families, while those same politicians are sipping martini’s, eating caviar and taking envelopes full of cash from whoever and getting rich, insider trading.
Because they’re tired of being sent to the border and not being allowed to defend this country since their Commander in Chief has allowed the border to be open.
