The world’s wealthiest man Elon Musk faced sharp backlash Monday afternoon after sharing his thoughts on how to end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on terms far more amenable to Russia than the Western consensus, continuing to opine about global politics on the heels of bad corporate news closer to home.
-snip-
Musk’s controversial foreign policy proposal came as Tesla shares cratered 9% in Monday trading, hitting a three-month low as the market reacted poorly to third quarter vehicle deliveries falling short of estimates.

The Scott Ritter admiration society = Putinoids.
Remind me, does not Musk provide Starlink to Ukraine?
Elon Musk to say Ukraine is “Likely to lose” is an understatement.
I agree too. I like Musk’s idea except for the U.N. monitoring the elections. I’d rather it be a less corrupt, independent commission of some sort, but I guess at this point, we just want to end this thing.
I see the left-leaners here are opposed to it because they want to keep that money (OUR money) flowing to the world’s crooks. Very telling about the propaganda pushers, isn’t it?
The Kaliningrad district was part of East Prussia until 1945--German-held for centuries. I don't think it was ever part of Poland.
far more amenable to Russia than the Western war profiteers
The post-1945 border between Poland and the USSR runs fairly close to the Curzon Line proposed after WWI by Lord Curzon. There were some Poles living to the east of that line but most of them would have fled or been expelled in 1945. There’s no benefit to Poland to seek the return of that territory. (Meanwhile a large part of western Poland was German until 1945...the Poles are better off keeping the existing borders although if it were up to me I would split the Kaliningrad oblast between Poland and Lithuania.)
Oooh. Sharp backlash. I’ll bet Musk is in tears now.
A buncha keyboard warriors who never bore arms in the defense of their own country are triggered.
They can FO.
It’s not a civil war.
These are two nations, who have independently recognized each other’s sovereignty.
Ukraine will likely fight until they regain all territory.
Russia is fighting for resources and economic reasons.
History suggests this will be a bloody prolonged conflict, and likely Ukraine will win because economics alone generally don’t motivate people to die in large numbers.
That being said, Trump seems like the best person to end it.
To be frank I’m not sure how feasible Musk’s proposals are anyway at this point. I mean from Russia’s perspective they just blew up their gas pipelines, this whole thing is costing them big bucks. So I don’t anticipate Putin is about to gvie up any of the territory it now occupies, and wouldn’t be surprised if they ultimately acquire more including Odessa and the entire Black Sea coastline as reparations. Putin now knows there is no making friends with the US, and it’s time to play hardball and realpolitik.
You’re so much more productive than Musk.
No way could he post 50 Ukraine threads a day, and post that many childish memes...
Do you really believe that dribble?
Elon is right and Truth hurts. Allowing people to vote gives them freedom. Free peoples are a scary thing to the NWO who prefer Revolutions.
100%
Red light specials? Yep. Well known.
I’m just agog at how much geopolitical beef is being tossed over a Twitter poll.
TWITTER.
The alternative will be tens of thousands of more Ukrainian deaths and a shrinking Ukraine.
You and anyone that thinks otherwise are numbskulls.
But, many here know you and your ilk and don't give a damn how many Ukrainians die, just like Democrats don't give a damn how many blacks die because of their policies.
You and anyone else continuing to push this proxy war are evil personified.
